Holy crap, didn't quite realise his stats were that high.
I meant international side though.

There you are Fred if he plays for Scotland, he's a stick on!
Can certainly see it happening now I know the facts.
Just still not confident about a League One player

Scotland's leading scorer with 6; speaks volumes about the Scots really .
Do you not agree it's incredibly risky?
Ricky Lambert has been awesome in the Championship and League One too...

You need to grow up. After each comment I make it is nonsense and you're claiming I'm not a Liverpool fan.
------------------------------------------------------
It's due to the fact that Liverpool fans are famous for their knowledge on football. I'm sorry if you're just one of the stupid one's. My mistake, I apologise.

I know who is slow and thick. Biscan backwards . You couldn't get it first and then second time even when getting some hints.
And you think Luis Garcia wasn't good.
---------------------------------------------
I'll let you off with the first one, as I have no comeback, I failed.
However Luis Garcia was never a good player. That is not to say he didn't have good games, he did, they were just few and far between.

Beckford was prolific at that level, not so for Everton. I do think there has to be a lot more to a player, than scoring goals in the lower leagues, although Rhodes does seem to be driven. Also it's been proven that if you supply a cross-Rhodes will score it.

Anfield
Have you actually seen much of Saints?
I went to Saint Mary's a few times last season and he was their stand out player by a mile!!!
I not sure I have much faith in our scouting network at this level, back in the day Liverpool used to pick players like Ian Rush from Chester City, we should be able to look at the lower leagues and know who will make the grade.

This is a reflection on scouting networks throughout the top division and also TV coverage. Good players will be spotted much younger. Of course there will be a few who aren't.
I can see what your saying. Jordan Ibe and Seyi Ojo being a case in point being signed fir the U-17s this season.

Just found details of a new trialist announced just now, a Ghanian midfielder, I have added the link above.
Just proves where all this speculation will lead you. It's more like the X-Files on this thread....I've heard Suarez has now been signed to play Zach Quinto's twin in the latest Star Trek movie.
Well, he's got a window in his calendar....

There does seem to be a strong possibility we won't delve into the transfer window, but it's such fun talking about it!

Aggers.
You're right of course. I really hope we can secure a decent signing to push us on - I'm just expressing my frustration at lack of anything concrete.
Par for the course, I suppose. But I always laugh at the satellite networks frenzied coverage at this time of year
It's dry at the moment fella, it might be down to the fact the Premiership is not quite the draw it used to be for foreign players.
