Ba scored 7 goals in 12 appearances.

I have never claimed to know everything, only that you talk nonsense.

Huntelaar is one of the best finishers out there!!!

We also need Lucas cover while he's out and to keep him on his toes when he's back. Higuain and Matri won't sign for us.
---

Any striker who can't it make at Real is not going to make at Liverpool. He was a big failure there. He didn't do well in his 1st season in Germany. His record is good this season but most of his goals have come from penalties. He is slow and could be similar to Carroll but certainly better than him.

25-30m for Higuain. Real won't say no. Matri 15-20m. You never know. Anyway all I'm saying we should be aiming for top strikers not crap players as suggested by TOOR.

Sneijder and VDV were both failures at Madrid, can I remind you of that?

Higuain won't leave the best side in the world to join us!!!

Real were scoring goals for fun just could't beat Barca. Their strikers were getting alot of chances to score and still Huntelaar were missing them.

from lower divisions that both of us don't know.

------------

What?

West Ham 13 games 7 goals 1.85 games/goal
Newcastle 21 games 15 goals 1.4 games/goal

I would say that is fairly consistent. He has had more time in the Premier league and is with a team that creates more chances now too.

Good striker but knowing our luck his knee would go if we signed him.

He still would have been worth the gamble on a free though.

Exactly my view, best to leave him ... i think that is the view on most clubs.

Yup, was a great job but the boss moved her company to the States. She offered me the chance to go there with her to work and live, but I let my mates talk me out of it

I don't go back and search for stats like TOOR who looks very careful with his wording because of his limited knowledge. I didn't mean he was bad at West Ham. I meant he looks better now at Newcastle where all the top teams want him. Before, no one bothered to buy him apart from Newcastle and Stoke. Besides, in the old BBC 606 I wrote an article for strikers Liverpool need and he was in my list when he was in Germany. I'm sure TOOR didn't know him at that time.

Ah right, you didn't mean what you said, you meant something else and because I looked for the stats, it means you're right. How foolish of me, I clearly know nothing.

You want to grow up.

I think Podolski would be our best bet.

Halfway house between risks like Ba and the unrealistic like Higuain.

We do need a new DM though, just don't feel that confortable with Spearing in the side

I would certainly agree with that. Spearing has however did very well but you do feel he is quite limited. I see him being a good player for a mid table team, which we would become if we allowed our sentiments to continue with Spearing, the local lad, in the squad.
