People questioning Ole are ridiculous. Since he has arrived, our season went from dead to alive, but there are a lot of unrealistic expectations from this squad. It's a very bad squad assembled by managers way past their best. There is no cohesion and there are many players who don't want to be here. The team has gone from no running, to running and you can see now it has slowed us down and the team is falling away. But lets be realistic, go back to December, did anyone actually believe top 4 was possible? I certainly didn't and still don't because it's obvious the players are tired and worn out. But it's an achievement nonetheless.

But lets be real, this squad needs HUGE changes. One window won't be enough, especially if we lose key players. It could take 3 or 4 windows before we see a side even remotely good enough. We are not at the stage as a club, where we can keep sacking managers for fun, as we are becoming/have become a very unattractive prospect. It may take someone who knows the club to actually bring it back to a level where it's acceptable.

More pressingly, we need to bring in a DOF and change the structure. Chnaging manager after manager will make no difference. Even Pep or Klopp would struggle with our setup at the moment. Ole will need time. I don't expect much from us at the moment, as a we are a top club only by name now. So much is needed.

If we had Mourinho form all season this season we would finish on 58.12 points. Mourinho form over 17 games and Solskjaer over 16 games. Amazing really lol.

Considering the situation before he took over, getting sixth or above this season counts as a feckin' miracle.

Agree with all. We do need to get rid of many of the bad players from previous manager’s reigns but I think there is an internal politics issue from the top also

United we win

Agreed. The problems run pretty deep. I'm not overly thrilled with the contract renewals. The ones renewing are the ones we could lose and not skip a beat. The ones who are running into the end of their contracts are the ones we need to keep. It's mental, and I doubt Ole gas demanded it, put it that way

If Watford beat Arsenal then top 4 is in our own hands completely. I think Chelsea will win EL as they are a proven cup team and are most likely strongest team currently left in the competition.

I have not questioned him, i've said from day one top 4 was over, way back in december. I write this season off. As in my opinion, top 4 is a huge ask. The squad is not good enough.

Jose got 2nd with this squad.

No Jose fluked 2nd and was battling Wolves for 6th when he left. It's most likely the biggest transformation between managers in the same season long term wise. I know Leicester had a great run changing there title winning manager but that's probably the closest to this.

Maybe when the big money came with BT Sport, footballers in european playing teams have made us lose that hunger. Too much wages already for youngsters as well.
