end of the day its the same 11 players on the pitch and these players arent good enough full stop
basically we could have alex ferguson and his team managing town and it wouldnt be any better
The players were never good enough, now they've decided to have a rest..lazy bar stewards all of them.
think ur right... lazy is what theyve been for months
Clark brought these players in, his fault
Its okay to say Clark is to blame, but these same players were playing much better under his management. I believe we would have had more points on the leader board now without a change in management. Looks like a 3rd season disappointment to come in the play offs! Then again perhaps the whole suggestion that Grayson was appointed because of his play off success might just save the situation!!!
jd im sorry to upset you but even grayson cant perform playoff miracles
I'm not confident...unless some of our players get the rses well and truly kicked...
Clark seemed to get more out of them! Wonder if some have been told they're out in the summer
In Lee Clark the players believed in him and trusted him...
And they had good reason to do so...I won't bother quoting all he stats, but you've got admit they were very impressive ~
Unbeaten record of 43 games
Most unbeaten away games
Most points scored in a season without getting automatic promotion....etc
There was a true feeling that we were invincible, from the players and the fans..
Once Lee Clark was stabbed in the back, all that belief went with him, and the 3 1/2 years building the team into what it was.....
Thats all gone now...
Grayson owes these players nothing and visa versa....
So now begins that period of re-building a team of players that believe in the manager & visa versa....About 2 years to wait then...Well done Dean Hoyle...Hero to Zero in the matter of a 2 minute phone call....
"They believed in Lee Clark" ???????????? Not what i heard Myth,, Clark had nigh on lost the dressing room before being put out of his misery by Hoyle,,, A very good source told me Clarky behaviour was becoming a little bizarre and erratic to say the least,, They also told me that Terry Mac did absolutley heff hall and didnt really help Clark in any shape or form,,, I am not going into all what happened as we will never be told the real truths apart from the fact that Hoyle recognised and heard from others about a manager who simply could not take the pressure,, All the Lee Clark luvvies should be thankful that he aint in a "nuthouse" and was saved from doing so by Hoyles so called "knife in the back",,,, Mind you it would have been worth a movie script,, Clarky and Boots as roomies in a padded cell, Who would have gorroted who first ???
grayson is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard right now. At least under Clark we'd have 1 shot on goal
I know what your saying Bryce..But what are you on about....
That tale you tell was unfounded crap that was being bashed about at the time of his betrayal....
Did you hear it from one of the friends of a woman that worked in the ticket office by any chance?????...
Every company has a group of gossip mongerers that hate the heirarchy above them.....especially a group of catty women.....
Clark had the respect of ALL at the club, except Hoyle who's head was turned when he had seen that Warnock had become available, and believed he could talk him back the club where he got success when Hoyle was a young easily pleased member of the HYC....
But when he signed for Leeds, Hoyle panicked, thenmade the worst business decision he ever made....and here we are....
Would it be possible to get lee Clark back, un finished business an that ✔
right for once ive got somt to say and quick...
not one person on here or the beeb before it wanted lc. the weeks leading up to lc being axed all of you except mirf was calling for him to be sacked.
hindsight is one thing but dont go back on it now saying he shouldnt have been sack blah blah blah now when its not working out so well
ull know if im refering to you no need to mention names.
I never wanted him sacked tez, can't remember me saying i wanted him out ت
arroo whatever trevor
arroo ive renewed!
The fact of the matter is that under Wor Lee Town were averaging 1.8333 points/game this season (30 matches = 55 points) until "Deadly Deano" unfairly dumped him.
Under Brycey's and Bootsy's hero, "Simple Simon" we've only averaged 1.583 points/game (12 matches = 19 points) and also don't forget Wor Lee had only lost 3 of his 30 games in charge, where as Simple Simon has already lost 3 games in his short 12 games reign since he took over from Wor Lee.
So, I blame "Trigger Happy Dosy Deano" entirely for our current predicament - he apppointed Wor Lee and he should have stuck with him until the end of his contract.
However lets be honest here, I firmly believe that Deano thought he had Warnock signed up, before he had reluctantly to settle for second best in Bootsy's hero "Simple Simon", who lets be honest, was sinking faster than the Titanic down the road at Leeds
Clark took us as far as he could!
I never asked for Lee Clark to be sacked. I always backed him..
The only negative thing I did was an Article called '442 now please' after a series of draws early season....
I have always backed Lee Clark against all the anti Clark moaners, who were mainly Town Cryer, Boots etc...I've lost count of the amount of time Iv'e been accused of wearing rose tinted glasses.....
And I always believed that Clarks biggest asset was his ability to attract players of a much caliber than we would normally get, due to his reputation as a high quality experienced proffesional player...
Myth - Clark had lost the dressing room,, Most of the players were treading on eggshells,,,, Add to that his media outbursts and his constant self promotion,,, How can Leicester fans say he was turned down for the Leicester job ??? You cannot be turned down if you do not show interest,, Or your agent shows your interest,,Yourself and Mirfs love affair with Clarky is on a par with Bootsys hatred of him,, A little sad,,

You see, what happens Bryce, is sometimes we says things to counter someone elses comment....
Clark had many flaws, and yes he lost it under pressure when interviewed after a draw that we should have won...But I would if I had to talk to the mono tone pr!ck from Radio Leeds...
But I have tons of respect for him, and still believed in him.....
We'll never know know if was good enough to get us into the 2nd division, but my money would have gone on him if we had given him the chance......
it's true Myth...and I equally called for his sacking.
So here we are...in a kind of no mans land.
The season is not over tho', and if SG can rally the troops and get us thro' the playoffs, I'll be taking all the credit for my stance , deano will be a genius and you , Myth, will be saying it was LC's team anyway...?
If we go up, nobody will be complaining and we'll be partying for weeks...in fact we'll have such unity on here it'll be boring as sheet.......
