Not just the City game, Spurs we went super defensive and Arsenal also had arguably the better of the game against us.

If at the start of the season someone told you in the games against Spurs, Arsenal and City we would win one, draw one and lose one, I think most people would of agreed.

Its just frustrating to win the 1st one away from home and then drop so many points at home.

Only 7 games in played 3 of the top 5 and still 4th.

He went to defensive against City but I cant see him needing to do that again as we wont play a team that good again in the PL (apart from the away game obviously)

I think we are 3 points from where we shd be after those 7 games.

The spurs win cancelled out the loss to burnley, but we shd be beating Arsenal at home and at least drawing with city.

We have to go on a ten game winning run now to get back in the hunt for proper.

I still blame the fixture schedule for what would have been an amazing spectacle

One team had a day off training, while one team had a day on

I think the fixture schedule could be to blame for Conte's tactical plan for the game.....I am not so convinced about the physical effect though

Conte over analysed it i feel....

He said it was too much to ask moses to play wing back as he used a lot of energy in the previous two games..

He could have given him 45 and Zappa 45...strange

Alonso played 90 minutes in all three. Conte got it wrong with Azpi wing back, it doesn't work, never has. I thought the reason for buying Zappacosta was so we wouldn't have to play Azpi wing back..

The more i think about the game the more angry i get

We still may have lost because city were excellent and Morata would have still got injured , but we proved last season we can hurt city with 3-4-3....

We showed far too much respect to city

The way to beat them is to attack their fragile defence. Get Zappa and Pedro up against that mug Delph. Sane wouldn't help he can't defend.

Once Morata went off we had no threat up top, city just did what they wanted to do, pressed up high up the pitch without worrying about a potential counter. It was shambolic.

It's the first time watching a Chelsea match where we were losing by one goal and I just wanted the ref to blow the whistle. If we equalised I would have felt embarrassed

Most disappointing thing for me was Conte didn't change it at half time. It was clear as day that our strategy wasn't working.

Fabregas had to go off and Azpi had to go back to CB. We may still have lost the game but I wouldn't have been praying for the full time whistle at 70 minutes!

One thing that I have to say I am enjoying is Conte blaming results on playing CL football midweek, whereas he said it played no part last season. Would be interesting to see how the league would have finished had you had CL football.

Not in the two articles I saw linked on twitter from different instances otherwise. He may have said it on a seperate occasion.

What is with this playing kante as like a RW nowadays aswell, makes no sense, just cos he has energy, he shouldnt be our furthest forward midfielder.

Either way CL footy has nothing to do with it, probably trying to make up for his own mistakes and for our striker having to go off.
