When you don’t have a clear philosophy or way of playing, when you do stop picking up results you don’t really have much to fall back on. Obviously he’s English so will get an easier ride.

If Tuchel trusts Mount as much as Lampard did, and I imagine he will, I wonder if our own fans who doubt him will see his value a bit more.

I think Tuchel is quite lucky to have empty stadiums, when he comes in.

If there is a clear improvement in the team tactically, suggesting that Frank was indeed lacking, he might well dispel a lot of the negativity which would have come his way otherwise.


On the other hand, if we show no improvement, I could imagine a fairly toxic reaction, whenever fans return.
