Frank gave the youth a good shout which is what many fans wanted. Kind of cutting his own throat.
Tuchel I suspect will revert to the age old, experience and proven pedigree selections in order to get quick results and stability.
Like a fackin merry go round unfortunately.

AVB was a clown and a douche bag but Scolari was defo the worst, Sarri probably 3rd

I think Tuchel basically has a free pass to lay the foundations this season. But then next season he has to deliver.

I don't think he has a free pass, he'll have to deliver this season

Delivering this season basically means top 6 I guess. And trying to go further in the cups.

At the very least, Lampard has left the club in a better state than he found it when he arrived in 2019.

He’s proven the academy players can be good enough, when given the chance. He re-engaged Abramovich who had seemed to have lost interest under Conte and Sarri. Also the transfer strategy under both of those managers was awful and under Lampard we’ve started looking for young, progressive players.

This season has been poor. It’s difficult circumstances to integrate new players and probably too much for an inexperienced manager to deal with.

I think fans will be in stadiums by August. I think they will calm down by then. The SB faithful were pretty antagonistic toward the players for about 2 weeks after Jose went in 2015 and then calmed down.

If by the time fans are back Werner & Havertz look like Werner & Havertz + we get 4th, Tuchel will be fine

Honestly with the state this league's in right now, and factoring in the biggest issue Lampard had was basic tactical issues (not really requiring a pre-season or anything, just basic stuff). Both are very possible.

Sarri was better than Rafa in my opinion.

Scolari was the worst tho

Scolari also had a team that had established themselves as one of the best in Europe, as shown by how well managers either side of him did.

Tuchel is going to be under some serious intense pressure though especially if we lose to wolves

Judging by Rodgers comments today he’ll never manage us for similar reasons to Pep

I imagine if Tuchel flops we’ll get Simeone or Zidane in the summer

The last 6 months of management though, is probably the worst I've seen under Roman. We imploded worse under Jose, but this time it's more obvious it's the manager which is the problem.

What constitutes a flop though what are people actually expecting of Tuchel, what are you expecting NPE final position wise etc

Honestly, this is probably the first time I've thought that it's clear the manager is the issue. And as much as our league position last season was a 'success', I think people forget how terribly we played for the majority of the season.
