PSG might've had Pochettino lined up since the CL Final. Tuchel was on edge (just like Lamps was last week with the media) since the start of the season. Knew his fate.

I don't have any for this season now. Any new manager is gonna need time and we are already 29 games in. Season is over.

I wouldn't bet against that either. If Tuchel doesn't get a tune out of Werner and Havertz and we don't get top four or close to it then he might be walking a fine line knowing Roman.

I would go as far as saying that when you take emotion and Lampard's legendary status as a player out of it, he is the worst manager we have had since David Webb.

You don’t give him any credit whatsoever for last season? Getting top 4 and to a final with a bunch of mediocre / first season youngsters ?

Frank gave the youth a good shout which is what many fans wanted. Kind of cutting his own throat.
Tuchel I suspect will revert to the age old, experience and proven pedigree selections in order to get quick results and stability.
Like a fackin merry go round unfortunately.

His system's at Dortmund were all over the place from analysis' I remember back then

He's not a Sarri type who'll stick to the 433 religiously, graduates from the Emery school of formations being VERYYYY flexible.

Apparently Frank Lampard gave 12,545 minutes of Premier League action to 11 different players aged 21 or younger during his time at Chelsea.

Both of these tallies were more than any other club over the same period.

I get that his hands were initially tied on transfers but that is still some going.

Whoever comes in next (and by all accounts it is going to be Thomas Tuchel) has got a decent complement of battle-ready young players to work with.

Good fackin riddance.

Yeh I think Frank last season did incredible and overachieved which probably didn’t help and he’s basically had a RDM season this time like RDM had in his full season with a load of talent
