If we look better and finish just short of top 4 I guess I’ll take it as justification

Any lower than 6th or being miles away from top 4 like double digits we’ll likely have to bin him off

What constitutes a flop though what are people actually expecting of Tuchel, what are you expecting NPE final position wise etc

The players who make the most noise in these moments are usually the ones who weren't part of the managers plans. It'd be like having Cahill and Drinkwater speak about (or their agents) how terrible a manager Sarri is.

There probably was questions over Lampard's management or lack of it, but I doubt that is the sources they are using.

Lastly, I think people overestimate the transfer ban for us. We had a bunch of new additions to the squad last season. We had Pulisic join up with us from Dortmund. Then a host of players returning in form from very successful loan spells. We strengthened the squad quite a lot going into last season.

Wonder if Tuchel will play Kepa

Alonso is stuck in a mini-Ozil situation. He’s on huge wages that no one else would even come close to wanting to match.

Will Kepa, Havertz & Werner be first names on the team sheet? That’ll be interesting especially as it seems like those were some of the biggest issues / caused most rifts

You're assuming the standard 75pts benchmark needs to be hit to get 4th, max I can see that becoming a 70 this season & that's if one team goes on a fantastic run & is assuming United stay consistent & Pool recover pretty much now.

If we get a run going in the backend of the season, get the momentum at the right time, it's on
