We will integrate him quickly because we need him immediately and are looking forward to seeing Aaron in the black and yellow jersey this season."

We ripped up basically our entire attack this summer. Only Palmer and Neto are staying.
Out: Jackson, Nkunku, Madueke, George, Mudryk, Sancho, Chukwuemeka
In (probably): Joao Pedro, Delap, Estevao, Gittens, Garnacho, Simons (aware this could change)
This may or may not be justified and is likely an upgrade but it's a level of volatility that makes team cohesion hard and difficult for fans to build affection for players.
I expect a similar rip up will happen to defence and goalkeepers next season btw where only a returning Colwill, James, Cucurella and Hato likely survive.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, seems to be an overhaul of the attack this season. So many new faces in the frontline.
Agree, we'll probably do the same at the back next season but to a lesser extent as our fullbacks are solid. CBs less so other than Colwill.
Should have a change in GK next season too.
Yep, all these changes make it difficult to mount a title challenge of some sort.

Fairly happy with Fermin as an alternative to Simons if Leipzig are proving difficult.

Newcastle’s £55m bid for Strand Larsen rejected. Wolves don’t want to sell.
Newcastle making a move for everyone other then Jackson. 🤦♀️

As it stands, Chelsea would not be guaranteed a place at the Club World Cup in four years’ time [as defending champions], but sources at football's world governing body have confirmed they are reviewing qualification plans.

I'm not and Leipzig aren't being difficult as far as I'm aware. Simons is elite and if we allow him to go to Spurs then we're going to seriously regret it. No doubt about that whatsoever in my opinion.

I think it's more to do with us not being able to shift Nkunku or Jackson hence why there's been no incomings atm

Garnacho the most important imo.
Fermin/Simons whichever allows us to do the best deal incl shifting Nkunku is fine by me.

Yeah seems that way. Clock is ticking. Not saying we should take peanuts for our players but we need to be realistic if we want them out the door this window.
As for Garnacho I'd rather just keep Tyrique George.

‼️ Bayern are again today in direct club-to-club talks with Chelsea for Nico Jackson.
Discussions about the formula of the deal as Chelsea has one international loan spot left and it has to include an obligation to buy.

Should’ve sent Datro Fofana on loan and be done with the international loan spots.

Neither I'd consider important. The important positions we aren't looking at - goalkeeper & centre back (now Colwell's down for the season).
If we sign both Garnacho & Simons someone from the attack's gunna get loaned/sold in January due to lack of minutes, a la Felix last year. My money would be on Garnacho

Not seen much from Gittens to suggest he is the immediate left wing answer
But seemingly we can just play Neto there

Him, Palmer & Estevao have a kind of Mazacar thing about him. All play the same position, but all bring different qualities to the table. Would be quite cool.

Far more reserved than I thought he'd be - maybe he's feeling a bit over-awed.
Though I reckon once he settles down and builds a bit of confidence (maybe a goal or two) he'll be electeic
