Been in Maresca's squad for a year, so clearly more trusted by him
What’s Arsenals weakness exactly
Just Arteta himself?
Pretty much. If I was being extra-critical they'd benefit from an elite left winger but Eze plays well off the left as well as the centre.
Easily the deepest squad in the league, no excuses if they don't win it.
Gyok might be a tad overrated
But his strike rate is hard to argue with i guess
transfermarkt has us spending 10m euro more than received

So, thoughts on the squad everyone?
GKs: Sanchez, Jorgensen, Slonina
FBs: James, Cucurella, Gusto, Hato, Acheampong
CBs: Colwill, Fofana, Chalobah, Tosin, Badiashile
CMs: Caicedo, Enzo, Lavia, Santos, Essugo
AMs: Palmer, Buonanotte
WGs: Neto, Garnacho, Estevao, Gittens
STs: Joao Pedro, Delap, Guiu
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I can't work out City's squad because their players are so weirdBut here's Arsenal and Liverpool for comparison.
Arsenal
GKs: Raya, Kepa, Setford
FBs: Timber, White, Calafiori, Lewis-Skelly, Zinchenko
CBs: Saliba, Gabriel, Mosquera, Hincapie
CMs: Rice, Zubimendi, Merino, Norgaard
AMs: Odegaard, Eze
WGs: Saka, Martinelli, Madueke, Trossard
STs: Gyokeres, Havertz, Jesus
Liverpool (fewer players than I expected):
GKs: Alisson, Mamardashvili, Pecsi
FBs: Kerkez, Frimpong, Robertson, Bradley
CBs: Van Dijk, Konate, Gomez, Leoni
CMs: Gravenberch, MacAllister, Szoboszlai, Endo
AMs: Wirtz, Jones
WGs: Salah, Gakpo, Chiesa, Ngumoha
STs: Isak, Ekitike
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I appreciate that you are right to name Colwill and Lavia but truth is those names give a false sense of security.
We have a decent midfield but heavily dependent on Caicedo, who is picking up a heavy workload. He is a clear injury risk and we don't have adequate cover for that.
CBs are average without Colwill
FBs look good.
Attack looks good

Too much of our business has been done last minute. I don't think it needed to be, we should have been more proactive getting these deals done earlier. Seems we gambled hoping to do some good business last minute and I don't think it's really paid off tbf.

We're currently extremely reliant on Caicedo, Palmer and João Pedro. Injuries to two or more of those and things really start falling apart in terms of viable squad options. Even more so in the absence of the injured Delap.
All the top 5 teams are highly reliant on one world class DM tbf
I think Essugo may do a good job when needed
‼️ This is believed to be down to Harry Wilson staying at Fulham rather than anything at the Chelsea end.
They’d given George permission to complete £22m deal.
~ @JacobSteinberg
‼️ Disasi wanted to move back to his native Monaco, but Chelsea ran out of international loan spots, using the last one to bank £14.3m in a loan fee for Nicolas Jackson to join Bayern Munich.
