I said england would have a 300 lead and declare

lol Afridi and I agreed with every word you said
Windies losing wickets already though and if this continues we will have that innings victory, and they will get payback for bowing us out for 52 all those years ago

2 good batsmen at the crease now and this passage of play is vital for the Windies, and us.

im lost now.

clearly the west indies would have had to have batted again at some point.

it is to there advantage to be batting on day 3 with a 50 run deficiet, rather than batting on day 4 with a 300 run deficiet.

i dont see how there's any shade of grey here whatsoever.

That's all true JPB. I am just thinking that the way the wicket is playing, we might rattle them out pretty quickly?

I sense this 3rd wicket might open the flood gates, especially as Andersen looks very good, and Bresnan will be itching to have a bowl as this test match seems to be going his way, whatever he does.

These 2 are riding the storm a little though.

oh yeah, i agree that england are still looking likely to win the game. the windies would have to have taken this position at the start of the day though - even with the loss of 2 early wickets - as they are at least in the game now, whereas they appeared to be almost out of it at the close yesterday. there's no talk of an innings defeat now.

Very true JPB. If the Windies can get past our score without losing another wicket then this is up for grabs for them.
Who said test match cricket was boring. No T20 game brings this kind of drama to a cricket match, none.

WHAT A MASSIVE WICKET. Chanderpaul is gone and that is a crisis for the Windies. England going for the jugular now.

Maybe an innings win is on the cards Maksi.

lol hopefor. I have just got back from our local beach mate and have missed everything up to about an hour ago.

It's the first time the weather has allowed me to put on my swimming cossie ( lucky for everybody else me thinks) and lie around on the sound for 2 years.

This game is totally not going as I expected but was a little worried for the Windies when I saw that taking wickets was easier than most expected.

Broads beats Samuels outside edge with a beauty.

The worlds best team piling on the pressure now.

Good to see Broad pitching the ball up more, all of our pace bowlers were too short in the first innings.

shiiittt shot from chanderpaul.

*lie around on the sand. God knows where sound came from.

Agreed hopefor. We have to bowl properly now because batting today has clearly become difficult for everybody except the King, Mr Bresnan

i dont know why you think it has been difficult to bat on.

it looks like it might have quickened up a bit, but it's still a very true wicket with no variable bounce. it's just been good bowling.

Maksi you're in danger of getting a Bresnan fetish, better start cuddling the wife more often before you start stalking him.

I think the Windies will make us bat again?

There was a fellow poster who had Bressie on the list of his all time worst test match cricketers

How did Ramdin survive that first ball as Bresnan tears in.

I think Alan Tichmarsh is the groundsman on this ground.
