i love the irony of people telling us we live in the past, when its a bit like their jokes.
who cares anyway, we got 3pts, all that matters
4th place is still realistic for us and if we carry on and are still in the hint come Jan, then we can attract the right reinforcements and our blip could be over
YNWA
I have to admit when I saw the league table after the game yesterday I was shocked to see us 4 points behind (only Everton)
West Ham's football is also stuck in the past
ARE they could have won on another day and their football is so effective...
Their presence in the box is immense and we were lucky to get win, but in lucky I mean we fought to end and showed our heart and scoring 3 goals without Suarez...
But hats off to WH
the next 2 games are actually huge, if we can go into the stoke and qpr away games have got 12/12 points in the last 4, the players will be flying. I also believe that if the owners see us with a chance of getting 4th, they may be willing to spend a little bit more in January.
Yesterdays game was the first time in a long time that we have seen the lads scrap tooth and nail to get back into a game, more of the same please. Come on You Red Men!

I was trying to think of the last time before yesterday that we did this.
Does anyone know?

That's true but thinking of this season I dont think we have won 'ugly' until yesterday
And it wasnt so ugly, we had 60% possession!!
When fans rely on stereotype you know they're out of sorts
The "never get a job" one I'm afraid Liverpool are now stuck with, it's a classic now.
I missed the game yesterday (Australian relations visiting) what abuse did Shelvey get? Pure abuse or anything witty?

It's not classic. It's boring and not even funny or insulting.
It's just tiresome and makes the fans who sing it sound like morons

To you maybe, but your opposition like it, I can't believe West Ham are the only fans who sing it.

What sort of a nonce factory does WHU's ground look like with the bubbles floating about?
There are few things more satisfying in football than the sight of Sam Allardyce when he's lost a match, the gelatinous walrus.
Apparently, our prospective new ground is going to be a bit special. How is Liverpool's search for a modern stadium going?
Are you going to turn it into a nonce factory?

I'd say over the years we've done ok at the one we have.
Thanks for the 3 points. Looking forward to doubling it to 6 in the next game.
Cheers
And I work. Wow.

"nonce factory"
Well the bubbles are designed to attract the next generation of fans so an apt, if somewhat rude description.
Jesus how about some levity on here, it's not personal it's banter. No one thinks it's true, it's just a slightly amusing chant that after at least 20 years of use we all know the words to.

Well here's a tip.
Try singing about West Ham instead and maybe you might squeeze a bit more from the team and not lose to us.
Norwich, booed suarez and he scored 6 in 2 games at Carrow Road
Thick or what.
I think we can sing about ourselves AND the team we are playing. It's what most fans do you know, or have you never sung a song relating to another team, specific player or it's fans?
