Fair enough "never liking him" was probably a comment I made on the spur of the moment because some plank or other had annoyed me.
If he were to qualify for the CL this season I would have to give him the respect that achievement deserved and would have to revise my opinion of him.
Sadly I dont think that will happen but IMO if it does not then its dreadful because this must be the easiest season to get a top 4 spot that there has been in years.

I do not like his approach to games and IMO a lot of this is affected by his previous jobs within football.
His job under Mourinho was to review coming opponents and I think that drastically effects his management.
IMO (and his subs reflect this) he spends far to much time worrying about our opponents instead of concentrating on killing them off. Yes games like chelsea, city, utd etc you have to consider their threat but teams like southampton, reading etc. they should be worrying about us.
I think he bases most of his football on not losing rather than winning and again I think his substitutions reflect this. How often do we see a negative subsitution with 15 minutes to go ?
He reminds me of George Graham (a manager I hated). Yes there are times to get a result no matter what but there are also times (like today) when we were good enough to pin our opponents back totally therefore nullifying any threat they might want to offer.
We were cruising today and IMO the negative subsitutions made hard work of the last 10 minutes. Sorry but IMO thats bad management.
I dont think SAF or Mourinho would make those same errors and IMO we are one step away from being a real threat in the premiership and do not think that AVB is the guy to exploit that.
Thats another reason why I thought it was time for Harry to go because I did not believe he was good enough to exploit it either.
IMO we have changed like for virtually like and thats not moving forwards.
