Ornstein was saying that we are still trying to offload Mustafi, but there has been literally no interest and even if there was, he doesn't even want to leave. Why would you when you get paid £90k a week for doing nothing?
With the Kos situation as well, we will have to accept he is going to remain at the club. Let's hope Mustafi will have some professional pride and leave next season to resurrect his career.
Because let's face it, he can't be blind or ignorant to how much criticism he gets and how unpopular he is amongst the Arsenal fanbase.

Randy Lerner... Stan Kroenke...
It genuinely worries me that we might soon look back on Wenger's last few seasons as being part of 'the good times'.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we are too big a club to suffer the same fate as Villa, but we are not too big a club to escape midtable mediocrity, especially as these 'midtable' clubs are showing ambition and want to break into the top 6.
Unless we can turn our fortunes around, and pronto, we are effed for the foreseeable future.
We are essentially relying on Emery or whoever comes in after him to massively overperform or get lucky with someone being a world beater in our youth system.

Dick Law confirming we had money to spend even during the 'tough' years, but we were always too cautious rather than being forward-thinking.
Kinda highlights just how bad he was at his job then, doesn't it?
The longest we have ever gone without a league title is 18 years... Gives us until 2022

There was a reason for being cautious.Basically, we couldn't do like Chelsea/City do, signing players for big fees and write them off if they fail.

Remember reading Swiss Ramble back in the days of us chasing Joel effin' Campbell, and him saying about the massive corporation tax we would be paying due to the money we were sitting on in the bank.
Actually ridiculous way to run a football club.
I get that IAWT, but we potentially missed out on players like Hazard, Mata etc all because we were being overly cautious. Why sign anyone if that's the case because by definition, any signing will be a risk?
There are some players who you know were destined to be a success from a young age. Hazard and Mata were quite clearly those type of players. Yet we dithered and ended up with the likes of Santos, Gervinho, Park etc.
We did not need to 'overspend' at the time we were interested in those players.

Wenger saying he thought Gervinho could save us spending 'crazy money'
Well, it certainly saved us from buy Juan Mata, Arsene.
Great call, mate
Imagine the hate Gervinho would get on social media if he played for us now
Arsenal are understood to be monitoring the progress of Stevenage defender Luther James-Wildin, with the 21-year-old rated at £1m. [@laythy29] #afc

Oh come on. We could have never bought Hazard. I'm not sure if you remember but his move to Chelsea was preceded with such feckin drama, it could make Griezmann looking like an amateur. Waited to sell himself to the highest bidder and ended with the famous line "I've chosen the Blue"
