Again all I can say is that he’d be happy to move to Arsenal but he’s not banging on anyone’s door to get a move anywhere.

That you know off! And I think you sound like a fan and all that entails when we all lose a little prospective.

Why did all of them need to fly out to the US?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
To massage Stan’s ego of course.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Is that what he calls it?
Kos wanting out might have torpedoed the Saliba deal anyway.

Message to Emery. You are under pressure. Thought you'd like that IAWT.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, meanwhile Levy is in St-Etienne hijacking our deal. Ulness the rest of our target are north Americam based, I'd have preferred to have at least one of them in Europe
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They can offer something we can't at this point. So its up to the player to decide. Why should we be extorted in that situation? As much as I like the idea of Saliba he is very much potential at this point in his career. There are others in Europe.

Not really. I’ve explained how I’m aware as best as anyone can be about what’s going on.
And I’ve also been quite clear that I see this deal getting over the line very soon so I’m not sure how that can be construed as anything other than Tierney ending up at Arsenal.
No loss of perspective there wouldn’t you agree?

Tough one. Ashley is much more hands on although usually it always end up badly.
Kroenke no-show is no good either. People are not accountable and that is the worse that can happen.
Ashley also actually turns up to games
Feel their motivations are the same, use the brand and income to further their own interests without investing
Think Ashley would invest if Newcastle were in threat of being relegated and not coming back up... Would Kroenke do the same?

My only point of discord with you is that your insistence that everything will be hunky dory if it doesn't. The truth is it just won't as a multitude of deals in the past have shown. Which is why I believe there will be a little more give on both sides and in fact the bravado that Celtic are showing is for fan consumption only and maybe now a little tiresome.
Kroenke has invested more than £600m @ 1.8Bn. All his other investments live or die on the Arsenal value. Its the danger to that value which woke up Stan to FIRE Wenger. The idea that he is ok with the value of Arsenal going down is beyond stupidity. All his investment is geared to Arsenal maintaining a Champions League position.

How on earth do you get that when we don’t want to sell and certainly don’t need to?
We’ve set out our terms and are sticking to them. Tierney is our injured and is likely to be out for maybe another month. Nobody at our end is chasing this despite your insistence that you trust Tierney will be dissatisfied and then what; demand a move?
Nothing whatever suggests any of that.
If Arsenal don’t move on the structure of this £25m offer then no talks will take place with the player. It’s all in Arsenal’s hands now. As it always had been.
It’s fair to say that you’re just hoping this is the case now. As in just being a fan.

You cannot directly invest in a club or you break FFP. All you can do is cover loses to the value of £35m which Stan has been doing since the CL income finished.
Liverpool owners have invested to build a stand, infrastructure which can be quantified.
Essentially we are in a similar situation to club that is relegated and have to get rid of players till the new we get back to the CL.
