Added the energy and athleticism of Ceballos and Willock to our midfield. Pace of Pepe and Nelson (who likes to track back too from what I've heard). If Tierney comes too, you'd have to hope that would make us more solid down the left side. Surely we'll look like conceding less this season than we have in recent times?

I know that Lex. Can't see them leaving.

Monreal only has one year left anyway and can play in a back 3 if we ever need to do so. may aswell just keep him.

Realistic outgoings though:

Elneny sold, Mustafi loaned.

Elneny yeah.....can see that as well. Mustafi would be a dream but cant see it because no one is interested in him.

Would actually like to see Mustafi go as much for his sake as ours.

The whole 'wants to stay' thing, is just sad really.

It's a money thing, and we all know it. If he'd lower his wage demands, someone would take him.

What are our expectations for this season then lads?

I know we want CL football as the primary target, but would you take that at the expense of early elimination from all the cup competitions, or do you want us to go on a good cup run as well, be it Europa or domestic?

Funny thing is, we all just assume EVERYONE thinks Mustafi is awful. Yet for all we know the Juve supporters might well be sitting there in Turin thinking how no one will ever sign Rugani, for pretty much the same reason...

Good Europa run for the sake of the kids (please play them Unai!) and a top 4 finish.

Think our squad is big enough to do well in every competition. Cup competitions more for the youngsters
