Yeah tbh I didn’t really understand what people were so excited about when Maitland-Niles covered at RB while Bellerin was suspended. I thought he looked really undercooked.
Can’t remember which game it was this season where he played well in midfield - I guess in the Europa? His comments afterwards about ‘bringing some legs’ to the role, whilst correct, seemed quite pointed. Thought at the time I bet that won’t go down well.
Unless there’s an injury we don’t know about, if he doesn’t start at the weekend I think that’s him done at Arsenal.
Ains will probably turn out as a Miler type player. Decent on several positions without being spectacular in one. He's HG so would loathe to lose that though.

Don't think it is, tbh. Ains had a shocker in his last game. Needs to man up, dust himself down and raise up to the challenge.
There's a good chance Bellerin will be heading off in the summer, and it's a fight between him and Cedric on who is likely to fill that role. Ains has had some very decent performances as wing-back, but I can't remember the last good performance he's had as a full-back.
How many shockers did Willian have to be removed from the team? It took covid for Arteta to drop him.
AMN was one of our best players since the return to football and he was still taken out of the squad when playing well. There have been a number of games where he should have started but didn’t. Newcastle in the cup the most recent example.
Every time He’s come into the team he has played well, regardless of the role he’s been asked to play. But one bad performance against Palace and he’s been banished. Meanwhile Arteta is doing his best to get Willian back into the team again.

Yes, he was poor last game but is a good player to have in the squad. To put him just out after a bad game isnt right imo.
I believe in him more than in Eddie to make his way at Arsenal.
And....no one has talked about him yesterday but he put in another solid performance. Rob Holding.
He really deserved to play. Pete in shock.
