Edu played a massive part in turning the squad from one that finished 8th to a title challenging one. How quickly people forget 😂

All alongside massively reducing the wage bill and getting unwanted players out the club

I wouldnt call edu a disaster, he did good work to establish a connection with the fans. But in terms of signing players it's like night and day.

DJ was definitely the one who saved edu’s feet fetish pic to his w@@nk bank

DJ rocked with a solid left hook from Fiddy. Can he recover?

I don't think Edu was a disaster, he just wasn't that good,I would say 6-7/10 job at Arsenal, last year and the way he left us midseason annoyed me though

I think last year was a disaster. And we spent a lot in 23/24. Overpaid on Rice/Havertz imo. Timber value was good and Raya was good value.

Maybe. And if we are to believe that Garlick was even worse as a CEO. He should have known what was happening - that Edu was being courted by Forest, and put him on gardening leave, appointed a director of football before 2024 summer transfer window.

how does gardening leave work exactly? Why isn't like 3 months, it was to the end of the season

posted on 14/7/25

btw - I think Martinelli will work well with Gyok, Gyok drifts to the left quite a bit enabling Martinelli to go central,

I assume you know what gardening leave is. The point is you have to lock out directors from sensitive decisions as soon as you are aware they want to leave. So it can be much longer than any notice period.

I mentioned that ages ago. Remember our discussion of why Sesko or Gyokeres is better in link up play?

We need a striking wide player on the left. Which is why we have been linked to Rodrygo (who is just like Martinelli but a better finisher).
