I saw talent in Kos, Gibbs and Jenks like some other gooners which is why I kept faith, if you didn't see it then it's nothing to do with me.
The last time I said Pod goes missing was about 6 months ago when he was still getting picked every game. I said Rosicky is finished last week after he started getting picked for the first time in ages
"Dubbed, it is because he fell out of favor with Wenger. Notice how he says Rosicky is finished and Podolski always goes missing just because Wenger doesn't pick them enough. As soon as they get a run in the team again he will start talking them up again "
He's just a soft spoken Godfather.

Some players require strict discipline at clubs to play their best. At Arsenal we have a sort of laissez-faire approach which just mightn't work for the likes of Arshavin and Santos. Could Wenger have gotten more out of Arshavin? Sure. Could Arshavin have done more himself. Undoubtedly. What can we learn from all this? I'm not sure and don't care.
Some players just have bad attitudes, not good for the dressing room and managers want to get rid of them. there's rumours he split with his wife, his personal life probably got messed up and he lost his motivation, he went from being a match winner to playing like a sunday league player.
With love from Russina..never to be forgotten.. Arshavin
From Russia with lovehandles
A wasted talent. No point persisting with someone who isn't working, and he just didn't work. Certainly not our biggest flop ever, but maybe disappointment. Although Reyes upset me quite a bit.
£15m for half a season, I guess it was worth it as he got us the top 4.
Imo Gervinho was ok for us before he went to the ACON 2012 then after that lost his way because of what happened at ACON. I think hes only just got over that and starting to show what he can do. I still have faith in Giroud. 16 goals this season is not a bad return imo. Not for a striker in his 1st season here. He can still get 20. People are just use to 30 goals cause of RVP.
TBH I agree with Bats that Wenger is a stubborn guy whose pride can sometimes get in the way of his judgement. I think he had every intention of signing players in January but because the media were constantly asking who is he signing, when is he signing them his pride got in the way. He was too proud, too stubborn to admit that we needed extra bodies that he didnt sign anyone until he was forced too. Someone who puts his own feelings before the club isnt someone id like managing us. People will tell me that hes practically saved us this season (and last) but the fact remains we still havent progressed in the last 8 years and the only reason we're catching up is because the teams above us are losing it. I suspect Wenger will stay for another year, well im certain of it but I doubt he'll sign the amount of players or the amount of quality players we need. We might progress as a team but will we progress enough to keep up with the likes of spurs, chelsea and the mancs. They will spend this summer and I can see them purchasing the players that we'd require and they'll get even further ahead of us. We need to prepare for that but Wengers pride could get in the way again. We need someone who isnt scared to take risks. I dont think Wenger likes taking risks.
As for Arshavin, id disagree that its wengers fault. Maybe wenger could have tried him in different positions but the fact remains he got lazy, he doesnt try. Thats hardly going to show wenger what he can do. Wenger doesnt like it if a player is lazy so hes not going to reward him for being lazy by putting him in a more suited position. You need to earn that right and i agree with that. How can wenger save a mans career if that man isnt willing to work for it?
Wenger has never cared what the media thought. Stubborn yes, but not because of the media.
Ok so that Pre Bayern PC didnt happen then?
Has this even been confirmed yet?
What has that got to do with his signings Wilshere? He was annoyed as they were asking him about things that were completely made up. That in no way suggests that he didn't sign players because of the media.

Wow, it didn't tell me I'd posted it, just kept giving me errors
Sorry about that
Arshavin on the flop, wait for the river.
Anyone blaming Wenger for Arshavin shouldn't be taken seriously about anything.

Wenger is a stubborn man who doesnt like being told what to do. If the media continue to tell him he needs to sign people then it'll make him think they are criticising his team.

I'd say it's about half/half.
IMO, the biggest thing is his being played out of position. For Russia and Zenit he played right through the middle, with two centre midfielders behind him, gave him so much freedom and his defensive responsibilities were zero.
For Arsenal he played wide left mostly, where he was pretty much wasted. I think Wenger should take some blame for not identifying that it wasn't working earlier and doing something about it AND Andrei should of kept at peak level fitness no matter what, it's not difficult for a professional footballer
Yeah but Wenger is hardly going to try him in a different position unless he earns the right. If Arshavin was clearly trying but still not performing right then yes try him there. However, arshavin was being lazy so wenger is hardly going to reward him for that
8t|t, you are a disgrace of a supporter. You've been having a pop at Arshavin for years. You just cannot contain yourself.
Go wash your mouth with bleach, you silly little tramp.
I'd say Arshavin was trying, just to no avail. You could see he did try to help his fullback, unfortunately he's absolutely useless at winning the ball back or even just holding up an opponent. It was just obvious he had no clue how to play as a winger.
I don't get what you mean by earn the right to a different position. We signed him as a CAM, and then played him in a position he had never played before, hardly his fault?
The thing with him is that he played for Zenit for like 8-9 years in the same position, and that was that. In this country players are trained to play in a variety of positions i.e. wingers are trained to play on either side or upfront, but I don't think this is the case in Russia.
