JPB - regarding the odds, if a player is quite a few shots behind on the final day, especially if he's relatively fancied pre-start, then it's safe to say he'll be a bigger price on the final day than when he started. He is 5 off the lead and a lot of players between him and the leaders.

you know who I feel sorry for ?

people who backed fowler.

I don't agree re the odds though. he's one of about 10 players who can win. that should mean his odds are shorter than when he was one of 100 odd who could have won.

Lee Westwood's eagle putt there just summed up his career. If he had a semi reasonable short game he'd be on 3 or 4 majors by now. I can't honestly believe he spends enough time on this part of his game.

He'll never win a major!

JPB - don't become a bookie!! 5 shots off the lead is a hell of a lot, and some of the players between him and the lead would have been more fancied than him.

Westwood has just shown why he may never win a major - brilliant second shot for short eagle putt, but misses to come away with birdie, which would usually be good, but you feel if he's to win then he has to take chances like that.

no more so than at the start of the tournament.

if you are one of 10 players within 5 of the lead at the end of the 3rd round then your odds should have gone down.

Woods, Snedeker and Scott were all shorter prices than Fowler at the start of the tournament, when they all start from the same score. Now on the final day, they all have a number of shots on him, so Fowler's price is going to be relatively high, even if far fewer players are in contention. And the difference between 50 and 66-1 for bookies is probably 1 shot on the final day. Anyway, enough on bookies' odds.

If one of mine doesn't win, would love Langer to get a third title. I use to back him all the time in the 90s, wish I had a quid e/w on him now!!!

Who you got Kinsang?

Unless Gonzo or Olesen have the rounds of their life then it's all on Snedeker for me.

Kagawa - mainly relying on Scott, also had Watney and Fowler from the start but both not made the flying starts required.
