I'M TALKING ABOUT PROVIDING THE CL AND WINNING THE OLD CL. NOTTT THE UEFA CUP YOU FACKIN MUGS!
----
you were a good side then. benteke didnt play for you then. benteke plays for you know, and you are no longer a good side.
infact you are facking shiiiite
Benteke still won't go to your small tin pot club. He'll go to Arsenal instead if he moves away. And they don't want him, so he is staying put!
Villa are in the difficult position that Spurs often find themselves, of nurturing some decent talent only to have the bigger boys come in and pinch it from them.
The last reported figures showed them with a £70m wage bill but only £80m revenue (2011). They have restructured a bit with more youth at a lower cost but, like Spurs have in the past, will rely on selling players at a decent profit to slowly build the club back up.
I suspect any deal would be in the £15m region with plenty of add-ons, perhaps taking it to £20m with a sell on too.

Man Utd think that a player can make their team stronger. Man Utd buy that player.
Chelsea think that a player can make their team stronger. Chelsea buy that player.
City think that a player can make their team stronger. City buy that player.
Spurs think that a player can make their team stronger. They think about it. They procrastinate. Then they buy the cheaper, inferior player.
That's why you don't win trophies.
thats probably because we have got less money ivan
And, Doovde. Indeed big club. Where is your European cup you mug?!
---------
So winning the European cup over 30 years ago still qualifies you for being a big club?
Weren't villa in relegation battles the last 2 seasons

villa calling us a small tin pot club
the west midlands is the graveyard for football. when was the last time the area had a quality football team?
villa cant even get a sell out
If we are a "Tin pot club" adot then god knows what that makes Aston Villa consistent relegation battlers, no trophy since 1996, rarely sell out and have no prospects as a club or as a team...... Come on Benteke, join a proper club.
Lion, where did I say that Spurs are a big club solely for winning those two trophies? Learn to read

Arsenal haven't won the European cup either, thus making the 'big clubs have won the European cup' argument you alluded to earlier as null and void
aston villa are just an embarassment to be honest.
we went up there and thrashed them 4-0

Chronic, you can tell Adot is secretly s hitting himself Benteke will leave wether it's to Spurs or not is another matter. Be a step up who ever he goes to.
Aston Villa 0-4 Tottenham
Spurs hardly got out of 1st gear that day a walk in the park.
The same day Spurs beat Villa 0-4, Adot was saying how overrated Bale was
Hat-trick for Bale

West Brom weren't bad last season
they werent quality though..... they were decent enough, and good on their day
To be honest though, if Benteke does leave villa it'll be for a hefty fee....
- paid £8m only last season
- scored 19 league goals in debut season
- high-earners such as dunne, Ireland, given and bent probably off the wage bill saving approx 200k a week of their huge wage bill
- Dreaded PL tax on the value of the player
£8m now turned into £20m+

You know your in trouble when westbrom are the best club in the midlands
When in the fack of life have I called Bale overrated?
We have been at our worst in our history for the past two seasons, especially when the ginger priccckk was in charge. But we are re-building which will take time. I rather build with the younger players, rather than splash out big money like the no history clubs such as City do.
