They obviously do have key players. We can question the class of these players all we like. But the fact remains is that last season Arsenal finished 4th and the players that were key to this are still there.

Wenger is arsenals key player, and they are doing their best to force him out. Other than cazorla, their squad is complete pants, and that includes wilshire. But as long as wenger is there, arsenal will be aeound the top4 positions. Sadly

Last season Tottenham only had 2 players that would get in the Arsenal starting line up, Llorris and Bale.

This year they still only have 2, Llorris and Soldado.

The rest are all either on a par or worse than our players.

Other than Bale Spurs' squad was complete pants. Is that objective?

Whether you rate their squad or not is redundant. The points were that Arsenal have kept all of the players that are key to their team. Their team is the operative word.

And in doing so are at an advantage, as Spurs are losing their best player who was crucial to everything and are replacing him with numerous players all new to the league and team.

Surely you must see this is something that could work in Arsenal's favour?

Wow. Your reputation preceeded you, but I can see you gooners really are as deluded as people say.

Darren - I am very worried about how spurs will perform this year. With all these new players I dont really know what to expect. Top 4 would be nice, but I am nt banking on it.

However, I still think Arsenal have a poor squad. Wenger is what is keeping them where they are. Players like, Gibbs, Ramsey, Giroud, Mert, Verm, Jenkinson, Wilshire and so on.. are average players. All of them. Wishire especially is the most overated footballer in England.

SLS, fair points. But as I'm strictly talking this season and Wenger is still here, I think the points I've offered up are still valid.

Spurs.

Darren - Also you have to take into account that Arsenal probably have the stupidest fans in the country, as has been evidenced above. That will work against them.

Although I know that was just a cheap dig, I take it you mean the atmosphere around the club? That is a fair point, and may get to the players. But if they add to the core they've already established, a core that finished 4th last year, then it should stand them in good stead.

That said, I do think Spurs are looking stronger at the moment. But that could all change.

I will never predict us to finish above them as long as wenger is there. Right now we have a better squad, but do we have a better manager? I doubt it.

It is a shame for them really, because they should be competing for the title. But with the squad they have it will take 2 years minimum before they can really challwnge.

Although I rate Wenger, I was more digging at his fan boys. Those guys rwally rate players like ramsey, goroud and qilahirw. Ir arsnal are to succeed, that kind of delusion will have to stop.

Whilst Giroud is terrible, Spurs are an awful club and I fully expect the deluded Clown Wenger to once again finish above them and claim the prestigious Top 4 trophy which we aim for every year
