also i read somewhere on here that welbeck has an all around game because he can play on the wing? That's not true. he clearly cannot play on the wing as his goals and assists record prove this

Rooney can though. That's where his all around game comes in. He's versatile enough to be able to contribute on the wing, up top or behind the striker.

vc - I dont get why Nani doesnt play more often. Clearly a threat for you when attacking. He's better at linking up with the other forward players too. Can slow down the play if needs be, he can trick his way past a few players and get a shot on goal. Criminal to not be playing him.

Nani is a top player. Very inconsistent as hell though I presume.

Welbeck is not up to Uniteds standard...sooner or later all will agree. Chicarito is the only out and out striker we have. RvP has a lot more talent and football-all-round knowledge than most people think....but his all-round game is not as creative as Rooneys. Either RvP or Rooney could play behind a center forward and make them look good. But the set up if both are playing should always be Rooney behind RvP...and if another striker is called for it has to be Chicarito. Welbeck is a redundancy!!!
