Davids – Spurs
------
yeah in his prime but davids wasn't at his best at spurs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh, fully agree, neither was McGrath at Derby or Ince at Wolves, but it's all about squeezing in some of the lesser recognised players into a good cohesive side.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is about cheating the system!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, it's about using the system to my advantage.
How about an all time PL team of players who have gone on to be PL Managers.
-------------------------- ????
??? -----------Bruce-----------Adams---------Pearce
--------------Hoddle----------Keane
Di MAtteo-----------Di Canio--------------Zola
----------------------Shearer
I'm stuck for a GK and RB?
Henry/ Van Nistelrooy (even split here so we put both.
----------------
Only a Utd fan can think that there is a split there.

Adkins was a goalkeeper, managed in the PL, but didn't play.

True dat. One more time.
Given
Sagna McGrath Hyypia Baines
Barmby (Hull) Le Tissier Zola
Collymore (Forest)
BOOM! NOW WHAT DO I WIN?
Missing two players. Ahhh feck this.
Speed and someone else.
1st team:
Schmeichel
G Neville Campbell Ferdinand Cole
Beckham Keane Scholes Giggs
Ronaldo Rooney
RVN was a great goal scorer but his time in the Prem was relatively short-lived.
2nd Team:
Cech (Chelsea)
Dorigo (Leeds) Colin Hendry (Blackburn)
Dunn (Villa) Bains (Everton)
Ronaldo (United) Vieira (Arsenal)
Le Tissier (Southampton) Huckerby (Coventry)
Shearer (Newcastle) Sherringham (Spurs)
------------ cech
neville-- sol-- adams-- cole
----- gerrard-- vieira
Pires--- Bergkamp-- Ronaldo
----------- Henry
------------------ Van Der Saar (Fulham)
Salgado (Blackburn) -- Rio (Leeds) -- Terry (Chelsea) -- Baines (Wigan)
Fabregas (Arsenal)-- Scholes (Man Utd)-- Bale (Spurs)
Suarez (liverpool)-- Rooney (Everton)-- Aguero (Man City)
A point on salgado, remember him from his madrid days
There's also some great players who were maybe not so great while in the Prem, or only paid a fleeting visist:
Gascoigne, Weah, Crespo, Brolin, Larsson, Suker, Shevchenko......................

i find it hard to understand how people can leave schmeichel out of their 1st choice teams.

Too young to remember him in his prime I would guess. Schmeichel left Utd almost 15 years ago now!
If all you remember is the City/Villa keeper then it becomes slightly more understandable.

Anyone who has Gerrard ahead of Keane and scholes needs their head checking.
Taibi
Cygan
Boumsong
Bramble
Traore
Djemba Djemba
Geremi
Aquilani
Obertan
Bebe
Akimbiyi
Done!
A bit harsh on Ravanelli there, he scored 1 in 2 for Boro, his best games-to-goals ration for any club he played for!
