Fully agree.
Can't see Man C losing to either Chelsea or West Ham.
Chelsea....as in Villa.
Difficult to distinquish between them...
It's a team game and the team should take responsibility . Individual mistakes cost us. Managerial mistakes cost us. Pointing the finger of blame won't take away the pain. We move on. We learn, we progress
Our defence is gash, and mignolet does not fill me with confidence, good shot stopper but flaps at everything else,Johnson should play his last game for us on Sunday,he is in no way fit for a new bumper deal.
Brendan must take this as a massive wake up slap not to get too far ahead of himself, confidence is fine, but the last 2/3 weeks have felt a tad arrogant
Great credit to palace for taking the game all the way and capitalising on our naivity, and fair play to city as I'm sure they won't need as many bites of the cherry as we've had
I have said all season that Rodgers is tactically naive, our midfield is so open and can have a lorry driven through it most games.
We won't have a better chance to win the title in my lifetime and it pains me to say that
u have a very good attacking line up and a very. very. 5hite back 4. Work on it for next season

Are you 124 years old?
Man frombelmonty I am 46 and the last 24 years have been painful enough without the last few weeks
Watching the game tonight at 3-0 we should have contained the game not tried to score more goals...pressure is now off City and they can afford a draw
Yes we should've won. Yes we should've shut it down. But at 46, I'd like to think you have at least 35-40 years left and in sure we will win it by 2054
Manfrombelmonty...do you think the other big teams will collectively have as bad seasons in future years...I don't
We could have ronaldo messi and Suarez up front and still lose games with the attitude our back 5 have!
Far too many sloppy individual errors all season, having said that,I'm more than happy with 2nd,4th was the target,so fantastic season generally,it was in view but just out of reach, never thought we'd ever be that close, bittersweet taste
It's not about them. It's about us. A little investment, the right players, the manager learning lessons, bigger dtadium, we will continue to compete.
Rodgers has blown it - you were chasing goals but you needed at least ELEVEN over the two games to affect the goal difference, that's just totally unrealistic - you should have shut up shop at 3-0, but anybody with a brain knows this...
Can you see the manager learning lessons as I can't but I hope I am wrong
Realistically how many good signings has he made Sturridge, Coutinho and possibly Sakho
I don't rate any of the other players he has signed Mignolet, Borini, Allen,Aspas, Alberto etc
Can you see the manager learning lessons as I can't but I hope I am wrong
------
I hope you're wrong too.
I also look at last year and see improvements. No reason to think Rodgers can't continue to learn
If brendan thought this was tough going,he's in for a big surprise next year, unfortunately for him he'll be compared to now with this season, anything less will be deemed regression by the media etc,and more pressure will come with it,I hope he has learned a lot these past few weeks and doesn't disregard it,cos he's going to need it to edge organised and spirited teams,we can't score 3/4/5 every week,1-0 gives the same points as 5-0,Goals for is great, goals conceded is a big worry
We should have continued attacking at 3-0. Their first goal was a deflection. At 3-1 you bring on Agger and in invite Palace on slightly with the ability to counter at speed.
Macca our second goal was a deflection so what
At 3-0 we should have killed the game and tightened up the midfield as it was so open
He should have moved Lucas into the middle to sit with Gerrard and had Allen and Sterling/Coutinho also in there
Chucked the baby out with the bath water tonight
OH Liverpool fans, how fickle you are!
Just a few games ago Rodgers was spoken about as the new messiah, now he is a marginal manager at best?
I'm not fickle at all, I watched my club try and win a game that needed winning by some considerable margin if we were going to affect anything.
I'd maybe have been cheesed if he parked the bus like mourinho, these were all games we had to try and win, no shame in that.
Well Rafa would definitely have shut the door but this is Brendan now and we know that he likes this team to play attacking football which we got last night and throughout most of this season.
Possibly Brendan's relative lack of experience has cost us the win with not changing the team defensively, maybe it was the wrong decision to go chasing the GD but I certainly believe he will learn from this.
Add to the team's defence in the summer and get the balance right between attack and defence and we should hopefully tighten up.
Panic and mental fatigue came crashing in after the first goal and credit to Palace, they and their fans never gave in.
I will congratulate Manchester City. Barring some monumental mess up, you've won the league....
although football is that crazy, it's still not necessarily over yet.
Is there a claret and blue spanner flying towards the Etihad????
It's nonsense to lay the blame with BR IMO. It's the players that are to blame. They bottled it, pure and simple. When Palace got their first, you could see the panic on the players faces, and the worst out the lot? Gerrard I'm afraid. Every time the camera was on him, he just looked like he was thinking 'we've blown it', even at 3-1. The manager cannot control what his team does at that stage of the match, in those circumstances. They needed to stand up and be counted, and not one single player did. At 3-3, we gave up. I said at the time, if this was United before this season, you'd of believed they'd of still won the game, it didn't feel like that last night.

Sturrridge for Moses and not Agger at 2-3. That is why it was BRs fault, for not reacting to how the game was clearly changing. Naive.

Could not agree more...., at the very moment when champions reveal themselves with a desire to grind out a result we were found to be significantly wanting.
Lose to Norwich (entirely possible given the pantomime scenes last night) and we earn the chance to go third if Chelsea win.
