Yeah, i hope Rodgers realised he cant do everything like when he first started and continues to add to his backroom staff.

The next appointment should be someone that can scout opponents for him and compile videos and shít....you know do all the dirty work for him to watch and then decide how he's gonna setup the team.

I think we've always had issues for as far as I can remembered, compared to others with squad depth. For the first time in years, last season we had depth but as we know nothing worked with our players until we switched to wing back for various reasons. We now have an even stronger squad. I think we have the tools now to compete when playing two games a week. I don't think watching a few videos will have as much impact as having enough strength in depth will.

Our form does seem to go out the window when we have more games.

The reason/s for that though is not really measurable.

It's something Rodgers needs to put right this season if he is going to stay in the job.

I don't believe that's true. Dalglish had us win a trophy and get to another final. It's evident he did fairly well juggling a couple of games a week. However as we know, the owners deem CL essential, so if we were either to go all out for the league or even the Europa and qualify, whilst doing poorly in the other competitions, I think he'd be safe.

I do think we have the squad to compete on all fronts however. We just messed up the striker situation last season, we have hopefully corrected that mistake.

Rodgers hardly rotates the squad as well....the man barely uses all his subs in most games.

isnt this the reason for o'driscolls appointment though?

if he is taking a large part of the training (he has spent a long time as a manager) surely Rodgers has a lot more time on his hands,

it should be enough time to tailor training regimes (we have a coach who delivers the one on one training) and work on the tactical approach for games

O'driscoll and mcallisters appointments should free rodgers up immensely
