the reality is maybe not next season but almost certainly the season after we will be in trouble.

cheslea have a poorly balance squad. a shocker that is front loaded but they will be top 4.

utd are going to be the same with a hole in midfield.

city need to refresh.

but they are all spending shed loads to do it.

we are not so we have 11 players. the last time we had this rafa was in charge and we suddenly started bargain bucket dipping

I know its nowhere near the same but the result could be an uncompetitive situation very soon.

the first 11 is fairly sorted and in their prime. keita and Jones cover the 30 year olds in midfield.

thats great but beyond that theres nothing much to see especially if we start flogging off squad players.

it will be a tight title race next year. i hope we are in it. we will right now have max a cl tilt as well. no cup runs.

After next year unless something changes we are headed straight towards a chelsea/city title again

The opportunity to play for Liverpool is far greater than worrying how much game time he will get. Next season Klopp will have to rotate more and Robbo is one player who needs a rest every now and then.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its also only a matter of time before we lose another star player, its pretty much how we fund our major transfers.. So we need to keep bringing on promising youth.

Certainly wouldn't be surprised to see one of the very top teams after our Fullbacks in the next year or two.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I've got zero concern about either of the full backs leaving. TAA is a Liverpool lad who has already said he wants to spend his career with us and Robbo is going nowhere anytime soon.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don’t think fans at other clubs would get Robbo.. I mean in his spirit.

When the chants of “Oh Andy Andy” go up, you can see the lad is lifted to higher levels, mostly after a bout of chithousery.

I'm not worried about any of our top stars leaving, I expect most of them if not all to stay until the end of their careers.

If we get a really high offer for Salah next summer we may consider it, but with Sancho likely off the market he'd be virtually impossible to replace so even then it's unlikely.

Our crown jewels are talking about winning multiple trophies so not concerned of any transfer risk.

dont see anyone trying to buy either of them tbh

Don’t see who could afford Mane, Salah or VVD!

It would not surprise me to see any of our players who aren't British leave next summer tbh except VVD who I think is here for keeps now.

Howecer, I don't think we'd see two leave in one window if that makes sense. I think there's a pretty good chance Wij will go this summer, he'd be a great signing for a lot of teams.

I've long defended our transfer strategy but I'm getting itchy for a bit of new blood myself. We have done a fair bit of business in January under FSG and maybe they're waiting until then to see how much financial trouble some clubs get into due to covid before making some moves.

Firmino's numbers are going down year on year. Personally I think that's because he's being over played and I don't think Klopp trusts Origi there.

He's toyed with two up top in a kind of 442 split strikers in the odd game. Personally I think there is a lot of room for a central forward/striker. I've long pushed fpr Brewster, and he looks stronger now, so maybe he'll look at that.

It's disappointing he had that one season where he scored 27 goals and hasn't been able to replicate it since.

Clear what he offers the team is so much more than goals but can't hide the poor goal return.

Looking forward to seeing how Minamino can fill in for Bobby. He seems like he could be suited to dropping deep and linking up. Can’t imagine he’s gonna be anywhere near as good as Bobby in the air though

I agree he definitely needs to bulk up.

This summer is massively important for him. He's been disappointing so far but most have been willing to give him a free hit in his first half season.

He needs to take his chance when he gets it, the community shield would be a good start.

I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt so far. There’s been a handful of players who have taken several months to bed in under Klopp so hopefully we start to see Him contribute in a he coming months.

It’s what makes Ozil’s wages so frustrating. Not his fault but him taking a 10% pay cut would have kept those people in a job if they were earning less than £33k a year

Great player. Still the only one to score hat tricks for 3 different teams in the PL

To be honest I don't feel it's just his fault, Mo has become increasingly selfish, we could have scored a lot more goals if he would play someone else in occasionally.

he had the 4th most shots in the league, his turnover is poor its more liekly that season was just an anomaly
