You’re probably right, I very much doubt it has anything to do with avoiding promotion by the skin of their teeth and one of the main reasons being they couldn’t score enough goals.....

I’d be pretty disappointed tbh. Would be good to see him progress at the club and actually make it. Obviously we don’t know the full story, assuming the rumours are true. Maybe we do want to keep him but he feels he’s ready to start more games. Youngsters don’t seem to have the patience to wait for their chance these days. Probably get his verminous agent in his ear every day.

I thought it would take ages and be frustrating, but it happened really quickly was quite exciting.
Southgate is so clueless it's funny. I didn't even watch the game but saw the lineup and obviously they were going to struggle to score. He either played three defensive midfielders or three at the back with two defensive midfielders. Wow.

Imo we have the players to play a system similar to Liverpool

TAA Gomez Coady Chilwell
Mount Rice Henderson
Sancho Rashford Sterling
Weak point is obviously rice but I would trust him in the defensive mid role than the aptly named Dier.
