Japan had hardly any rules as everything was advice based. But basically everyone follows the advice so there was no need for rules. But they were told to not go to gyms don't eat out don't etc etc that essentially were the same as our rules.

Our Government literally told us to eat out. Did Japan send the kids back to school for one day and then send them all home? I don't even know but I'll hazard a guess, no.

They certainly had tighter controls on who came and left the country.

Oh I'm not defending the government. But Japan aren't the country to use for comparison. In fact I think comparisons are always unhelpful as it's so easy to point out why they don't apply (NZ being the other favourite which is a pretty silly comparison.) Also, covid is an over dispersed pandemic meaning it has blown up in certain places randomly through outbreaks. Scientists believe there's a lot of randomness about it and the countries where it was bad might just have been unlucky (Italy a great example where it was literally just one area really badly hit).

Arguments like the ones you just made about the going back to school stuff are better as they are just clear incompetence.

Oh and I actually think Japan didn't stop people traveling out of the country but said people shoudlnt and so they didn't. The Japanese just actually listen to sound advice. Handwashing and mask wearing would obviously be so much better there.

They had stricter PCR testing controls I believe as you needed a result within 48 hours of travel which was incredibly hard to get.

Can’t believe we moved Mina on and kept that useless shiitbag Origi instead.

klopp mentioned defensive set pieces when talking about origi

Hopefully it sets him up well for next season with us. A run of games under his belt, undoubtedly a few more goals, boosted confidence, and hopefully gets a proper chance at the start of the season.

I've heard a few rumours Minamino fell out with Klopp.

Fully expect us to coin it from loans fir the next two seasons and then sell.

If Origi got a run of games at Southampton he would scored too.

Decent result for us in the early game, need to take advantage now.

Had a home made full English for lunch, can’t beat it.... Bacon, Sausages and black pudding all bought from butchers, makes a massive difference 👍
