I saw Greenwood rushing to Virgil without covering and blocking the passing lane to Robertson. Ronaldo could have cut off the lateral passing lane between our two centre-backs. Ole still think it's the 90s when you only need the better players to win. I don't think their front players are a good fit for each others.
Their defenders are better suited for a back three. Maguire is too slow for a back four and we saw that yesterday.

It is absolutely strange that all goals came from that channel between Shaw and Maguire. All five of them, and Trents shot that was saved was also from there.

Atletico did the same against us in blocking the centre but they still got players across to defend our fullbacks.
Their manager is out of his depth and he has a dinosaur coaching team.
Their defenders are not suited to play a high line and if the attackers dropped deeper they would had a better chance. His hate for Liverpool made him go toe to toe.

That was often down to how inept those the other side of him were though.
