Carvalho sent out on loan today. You know the relationship is bad when we are not even thinking about keeping him to assist us with the injury problems.

He wasnt used last season oftten enough when most the team were in dire form.

But in this case he needs to play games, no good keeping him for a month if hes not gonna play when others are back when he needs to be playing every week. Hopefully he can do that at Hull.

Last season, when our midfield was decidedly off-form, he played 17 times (including 7 starts) before the turn of the year and 4 times (1 start in FA Cup) from January onwards.

That doesn't sound like something changed to you? It's not necessarily as interesting/salacious as I'm making out! But definitely sounds like Klopp's trust in him dropped off a cliff.

I read they fell out over where he was played but as said Carvalho himself came out and said they barely talk to each other. I think he’s been bombed out but regardless Hull isn’t a bad loan for him, them or us.

he did alright too didnt he if i recall? Certainly no worse than anyone else at the time on his bad games either, he scored some big goals too? Didnt he get last min winner vs Newcastle?

Fabio Carvalho clears up Jurgen Klopp comments – “A misunderstanding”

And in an interview last month, Carvalho was asked if Klopp gave him any advice before his move.

He was quoted as saying, “I don’t really speak to him, to be fair.” Adding, “He didn’t really give me any advice.”

Not exactly what one would want to hear, but the 20-year-old has since said there was a “misunderstanding” as he looked to clear up the quotes from that interview.

“I spoke to Jurgen Klopp,” Carvalho clarified. NDTV. “What I said in that interview was, I didn’t speak to him about coming to RB Leipzig. There was a bit of a misunderstanding.”

“Regarding players, I spoke to James Milner, the captain Jordan Henderson, Joe Gomez, and Trent as well,” he said.
