If we do not get Adey and Diarra I will kick some serious Levy Ass

Sandro is close to being back , he starts training again in the next two weeks

As for Diarra he's had umpteen clubs already and if he's that good then why is he always on the move and my major reservation is that we clearly need to improve in other areas so how will this transfer impact on getting a new Striker and CB WHICH WE DO NEED unlike yet another C.M

posted on 19/8/11

@ Chronic, surely must be wrong mate? Unless City have screwed us in the last min with someone deciding not to go ahead with it. The only way i can think is if adebayor is truely desperate to come he will ask for his wages to be lowered anyway. I still don't see why we don't buy Adebayor on a permanent and ask adebayor to lower his wages, I believe he would still come

Where'd you get that from? I was under the impression he is out for at least another 2 months.

I guess Van der Vaart is pretty useless then Squid? ( by your logic that is) ........ Ajax, Hamburg, Real Madrid and Spurs ..........Just as much clubs as Diarra. Oh and pure speculation about Sandro, Tottenham official website claim he will be out 3 months and that's who i believe

Diarra's a good player, but I'd have assumed that his wage demands would be slightly lavish, given your 70k p/w wage cap. Also, he has attitude problems and I'm not sure if Harry will take any prima donna-like behaviour from him...

squid. i dont think it will affect our chase for a striker. we are not short of cms but we are short of quality cms.

i stil think we need an out and out winger for cover tbh but i cant be bothered to go back down the "we should have gone in for nzogbia" route.

donald_tottenham, lol, adebayor halving his wages to come to us? i doubt very much that will happen. just have to hope that clown on the radio didnt have a scooby

don... i think sandro tweeted last night he would be back in training in two weeks. however we will probably see him hobble in on march after he has his setbacks

As chronic said, Levy and Harry both realise we are in need of a top striker.....I'm confident it will happen and if it don't then heads will roll. Let's just be happy that we are closing in a real player of quality here......I;m all for it....DIARRA!!!! WOOOOOOOO!!! DIARRA!!! WOOOOOOOO

Don - It's understandable that it's being questioned. He is quality obviously but it's not a position that should be strengthened before a new striker and new defender. I mean yes Sandro is injured. We still have Huddlestone though. Once Sandro comes back we'll have Huddlestone, Sandro and Diarra fighting for a place. I hope Harry knows how to keep them all happy and keep the momentum of the team going.

I don't see why we're not looking at central defence, when King is injured and we've let Woodgate go?

Yes Sandro said 2 weeks so that gets him back for Wolves or Liverpool

Not just that guys...........think how Liverpool fans feel, they payed 20mil for an over rated centre midfield Youngster Henderson while we pay what looks like to be 9/10mil for a French International top class Centre midfielder

does anyone know how fit lass is... has he done any training/played any friendlies???

i know he was left out of the real madrid tour.

i reckon we should play him v hearts just to give him some minutes.

Spurtle, do you know what's going on behind the scenes? I'm not saying it will happen but who's to say Levy has Adebayor all but signed and possibly another striker? or even a defender for that matter. Maybe the Diarra deal come in quicker than the others so who knows but this shows ambition signing a player of this quality. Jesus man, after all this doom and gloom the past few months ( including myself) some spurs fans are never happy

Ganso was quality for me on FIFA

Re Sandro it has been on their bar for the last 2 days that he starts training in 2 weeks .....Diarra..This will be his 6TH team in 8 years , not exactly a home boy....We have far to many C.M'S ALREADY and should have got shot of at least 2 or 3 before we spent our skimpy funds
