Wouldn't get into our best 11 but would still get lots of games with us over a season
Better than cazorla so he'd be in ahead of him
He'd be perfect to succeed Cazorla/Rosicky.
I'm not a huge fan of sterling but i can understand the sentiment of wanting to keep him over Sanchez. He is young, British and came from the academy.
I always used to think united fans overdid the scouser delusion phrase but the 24 years without winning the league has affected liverpool fans self esteem.
Buying Andy Carrol for 35 million pounds in 2011 (highest fee for a british footballer) means they have been waiting for years to attack any expensive player who doesn't light up the premiership and sadly Ozil is on their radar at the moment
Coutinho is very gifted, but he really hasnt done anything on a consistent basis to even be put in the same sentence as Ozil.
I know its not fair to paint all their fans with the same brush but one fan on their match thread said Sterling is Liverpools best player and they wouldnt swap him for any player in the league.
If Sterling is their best player then God bless them as I am yet to see many teams win trophies relying on a teenager.
Even Messi at 19 was hardly dragging Barca to trophies.
Why bother asking a question when you only want to see one answer?
That's a bit rich coming from you of all people Sherrif, when all your articles have an anti Arsenal agenda.
But this is a forum. You're free to share your views.
What is rich coming from me. I don't ask questions in an article, then go on to share very biased views. It's pretty clear anyone that disagrees would be met with a bigotted response. To suggest Rosicky would start ahead of Coutinho is comical. And Rosicky is a sentimental favourite of mine.
The way I see it, right now, Sterling gets ahead of Ox (as painful as it is ). As for coutinho, he's good payer so long he doesn't shoot on goal. He would be on the bench.
Plus good for Liverpool fans saying they'd rather Sterling than Sanchez or coutinho than Özil, because these little delusions are why Arsenal will finish ahead of Liverpool.
Better than cazorla so he'd be in ahead of him
Both blow hot and cold.
If Barca apparently have "10 jack wilsheres" does that mean they have 50 Coutinhos?
Oh, and there's such a thing as faith in young player even if the pedigree isn't quite there yet. In 2007, if you asked most people who was better between Scholes and Cesc, they'd laugh you off the park, but despite Cesc's youth, I could see his talent and I wouldn't have exchaged him for any playmaker in the league. Fast-forward to one season later and he would go on to be the pre-eminent playmaker in the league with what I still consider his best season.
Coutinho and Sterling may yet be a bit inconsistent but their potential is massive. If you offered me a swap of Cazorla for Coutinho, I'd bite your arm off. Sterling is even better and a more consistent menace. I'd certainly be bricking it when he's running at our defence.
In fairness, I'm sure Sterling and Coutinho's youth was a huge factor in that. I like it when we invest in youth as opposed to buying people at the top of their game. If Samchez and Ozil were at Liverpool, they'd get played ahead of Sterling/Coutinho, but ask me who'd I'd rather have at the club as a transfer it would be the 2 we already have

I'm sure you thought the same last season and they finished ahead of us - right after mauling us 5-1. A result that flattered us. I guess we can all make our predictions though.
Coutinho ain't better than Cazorla. Not a chance.

Yeah. Your last article was based on a few crazy trolls trolling Sagna. Basically another excuse to have a dig at Gooners.

I don't like him too much.
unlike everyone else I remember his few games at inter and he basically is the same.
Very good when everybody plays well, but just as easily has a stinker, can't do basics or difficult things and gets frustrated.
he is no sterling, who is the real deal.
To be fair, who cares anyway?
No one really. Just a little bit bemused tis all.
"Not a chance" Coutinho is better than Cazorla? Dream on. Coutinho is a more menacing attacking threat than Cazorla. He's a player than keeps the oppositon alert and on their toes whenever he has the ball. Cazorla is a player of a million twists and turns but he doesn't have Coutinho's bite. I haven't mentioned the fact Cazorla is heading out of his prime years and Coutinho is entering his. I would exchange them without so much as a second's pause.
He's soo "menacing" he's barely able to get shots on target.
Bar agility. He's got absolutely nothing on Cazorla.
Can't say I'm surprised to see you hyping up another opposition player.
You've become a parody of yourself.
Coutinho would make the bench, just.
Sterling for Walcott would be better
Sterling's very good player. But I wouldn't swap him for Walcott.
Sterling better than Walcott?
