It's the Manner of the defeat. Huffing and puffing once again in a big game without any end product. Strange substitutions. Wrong team selection.
I honestly don't know when we will win a big game away from home again.
We just don't have the bottle for it
I wasnt that down after the defeat. At the end of the day to lose at Stamford Bridge is not a shame.
I don't think I am dissappointed of the manner we lost the game because I expected it a bit. We dont create enough because we arent accurate with our passing upfront. Same old problem.
Add to this that we were a bit unlucky with big decisions of Atkinson who should have rewarded us a clear pen for handballing.
Move on. We had a difficult run so far and the next games will be define our season.
The thing that made angry more than anything was Fabregas trying to get Kos and Chambers sent off - what a cūnt!

Gunnerthru,
Did he say this before or after the game?
Fabregas has lost my respect....actually he did that when he joined Chelsea.......yesterday just increased my growing despise for him.....

Directly after the game.
No shame in losing at Stamford Bridge.
I was more down about not beating Leicester away, Spurs at home and losing our lead to City at home!!! These are te kind of points dropped that gut me more.
We will struggle for Top 4 this season.
Of course you still love him, that's why you are so upset he is playing for Chelsea.

I agree completely.
The result not that surprising (Chelsea are a well organised and superb side) however I felt we played quite well in spells. Certainly was a stronger overall performance than many were expecting.
The downside was Mourinho’s applauding of Cahill’s horrendous challenge that set the precedent for the general animosity and bad tempered nature of the match (by both sides).
I don't see it being a struggle for top 4 given how poor the likes of Liverpool are, United can't defend for toffee I don't see Everton being up there again especially with their European exploits and Tottenham will flatter to deceive again. However top 4 in itself is not good enough anymore with what it costs to watch Arsenal and the money that has been invested in the last two years.

I think fans if most if those clubs can say similar but include arsenal in that list ahead of their own. If we can shore up a bit then I think it will be yourselves and Liverpool battling for 4th personally. Your top 4 challenge could rely on other teams being poor as opposed to you being very good. Same could go for us or Liverpool tbh though.

I would say we will get better and considering we have played 4 of the 6 from last season and while not playing well we have lost only at probably the toughest away game in the entire season. United won't improve in defence until they buy some decent defenders I don't see Liverpool improving that much in fact there defence is worse now than last season. If at some point we can put out our strongest side that will make a big difference.
Everyone keeps going on about Man utd defence. I don't know why they don't go on about Liverpool defence that are worse. The Leicester game 3 of those goals shouldn't have even counted and our keeper made no saves.
Against Everton they had like 4 shots until like 80 minutes in. Fellaini coming on meant we lost control as he stood there watching players get the ball and pass it.
De gea even said we defended very well, only last second penalty in 1st half was when he was called into action and last 15 minutes of the game so he basically apart from picking the ball out the net had nothing to do for majority of the game, that involved not even having to catch crosses as they barely went up the pitch.
Man utd are defending well, just need to be clever at last 10-15 minutes were we seem to not retain possession and I wish Fellaini unless he starts playing well leaves in January. Rather have Powell Cleverley Pereira playing then Fellaini.
This might sound presumptuous but that performance yesterday would have been good enough away to Liverpool or United.
We actually controlled midfield against an overrated Cesc and matic! Don't think they are as good as most people think. What hurt about yesterday was not losing, it was failing to get a shot away which is something we fail to do time and time again.
Arsene set us up well and it was the right thing to play Santi centrally who was brilliant!
If Spurs had bought a good striker I would worry more about them than United and Liverpool!

Hafi, your defence is the worst among the top teams, u concede goals from half chances and have no leadership at All! You had de gea to thank for the 3 points yesterday!
Shaw doesn't even look a ready made replacement for evra! It will take time to stitch your defence together. Liverpool are bad but I think they are better.

One of the main problems (offensively) yesterday was yet again trying to attack Chelsea down the middle.
Better teams than us have struggled to break Chelsea down, and I can’t understand why we did not utilise our pace in wide areas in an attempt to get behind Chelsea.
We didn't play well ffs, we didn't trouble chelsea's once throughout 90 mins, defensively we were average there was no collective effort at the back, players getting beaten on one-on-ones too often
People keep saying our defence is rubbish but the reality it is amazing considering we have played so many different defenders in games. I won't be suprised if we let in one of the fewest shots. Someone posted somewhere that De Gea was ranked 19th in goalkeeping before Everton game in premierleague. To be honest De Gea last 2 games have been showing he is back to some form as before 1 shot used to be a goal.
