WINDING UP PETITION ???

I, however, do.

What's "amusing" is the notion that our absent owner should be castigated for not paying bills (if that is indeed the case and what, exactly, do we owe our sponsors for this time having settled a loan a while back when Flowers spat his dummy out.....) BUT he's also castigated for wanting a return on his investment.

Completely agree Jonty

Sadly, you always do. You have your nose so far up his rectal passage, that when you breath in you think it's spreading time ...............

Liw ............ because I am one ...............

Actually forgot a smiley face - not meant that serious to be honest ..... but then when has the typed word ever been truly seen for how it's meant ........

As for the actual thread - have to agree with the majority ..... he bought a business with debts. They're his debts/liabilities now.

Be nice to have an end to the external bollox though and concentrate on footy again eh ............ ?

Thank you Radebe.

Pretty sad that people just resort to abuse because they either don't understand or don't want to accept the truth.

I don't believe we know from whom, how much or what actual bills these WUPs are for, so they could well be ones that have been incurred by current regime's payment policies, yet people are blaming GFH/Bates.

If the WUPS are inherited from previous regimes then they have been Cellino's responsibility for over a year, why have they not been paid?

If we believe they;'re incorrect, then challenge them, but don't challenge for the sake of it, that just ends up costing us money and with SC one saw our bank accounts frozen and players not being paid.

If all of our finances are sorted then we wouldn't have these WUPs stacking up.

Hopefully they get satisfied quickly, we can ill afford more court cases.

The additional problem having all these WUPs brings is that banks will see the club as high risk and not lend to it and then we are stuck taking loans at silly rates of interest from Cellino, Umbers etc which further exacerbates the club's financial issues.

WUP 's have been coming in thick and fast since MC took over. The reason? Well we have some money now and people are coming out of the woodwork wanting a bit.

The other factor is Bates and his cronies - he just won't let go.

The only way out of this mess is to either let them get on with running the club or the family selling to a mega rich person who is willing to write a blank cheque. Farnan and his consortium just don't have the cash to move us on. Not without borrowing anyway.

You've got to laugh at anyone blaming anyone but the current owner for this!

You have got to be stupid to buy a club like Leeds without doing thorough checks!

Due diligence? How does it work?

Stoopo, we just have to hope that Bates doesn't get his foot back in the door somehow.

I'm not convinced, at all actually, that his foot has ever completely been out of the club.

Jonty, we're already seen as high risk for banks to borrow us money....there's no disguising that, especially after the cockroach put us in admin, but since then there has never been any end to this saga, the opportunity to turn things around squarely layed with him, but it is he who chose the expensive way of running things...moreover IMO trying to run us into the ground, IMO GFH were also led down the garden path with him staying on at the club after the sale to show them how to 'run things' as they did'nt have a clue on how to run a football club, now these guys have been in business for a long time, should know about paying bills, so how can they let things slip ?, I agree they been kunta's whilst in charge but at who's say so ?, I will always hold that cockroach responsible for everything that's wrong with the club...now he says why do people question Delph leaving ? Because according to him he wanted to play premiership football which is good on him but cockroach could've made a much stronger case for him to stay, fight for him to stay.....IMO he didn't do either...only saw the pounds signs...and now says the academy is producing brilliant players... The same academy which he fookin run down.....

Well at least we don't owe just shy of £180m to Vincent Tan!

MC is responsible for the debts since he bought the club. However there are dark influences trying to de - stabilise the club imo

The same academy which he fookin run down
-------
Who ran the academy down exactly?

The person who just made half the staff there redundant?

The person who shut it down in the summer?

Cook, Byram, Mowatt and Taylor are all products of the academy that was in place under previous regimes.

We will owe sellino money when he sells the club this summer. At what rate if interest to be announced

Look at the agreement Umbers was involved in trying to loan the club money, stupid rates of interest and huge payout if promotion gained, worse than a payday loan.

posted on 27/2/15

Jonty, IMO he started the ball rolling on messing with the academy.....

posted on 27/2/15

and thats the bottomline because Jonty says so.

true though, if he does sell up in summer, new buyer has to do amazing due diligence so he doesnt end up in this mess, and then have enough resources to rid all these parasites for good. this football club gobbles money.

harj, what did he do "messing with the academy"

Love him or hate him, the academy produced numerous youth players during his tenure who made it to the first team or made the club a lot of money.

posted on 27/2/15

Correction Jonty.... Made him a lot of money, not the club....otherwise why get loans at extortionate rates of interest ?

Jonty, selling academy players, who have gone onto do quite well else where, not having a scouting network to bring in kids for the academy. Letting staff go from the academy, all we ever got in were loans loans loans....so IMO he started the rot by choosing not to invest....

The debt belongs to Cellino, rightly so. He bought the club, he's the one should have done due diligence.

There is one thing that should be considered here though, one that is seldom considered by the dreary bandwagon. That is this, he's still sorting out the mess he bought. I don't think anyone in heir right mind thinks he should be pilloried for trying to sort it out.

Personally I think he should be afforded a bit of credit for taking this club on after the ownership, management of the club in recent years and for doing it with such relish.

Ok he might be a sandwich short of a picnic but in all honesty you'd have to be to take on our club...!!!

He's progressing under difficult circumstances some of his own making, but a darn sight more as the result of financial mismanagement and lack of investment over a number of years.

Rome was not built in a day.

Harj, every club sells academy players, how is that messing with the academy?

Not having a scouting network? How did we find Becchio, Beckford or Snodgrass then?

Letting staff go? Who did he let go? If anything he hired scouts, it is Cellino that cut staff by 50% and made the academy a ghost town.

I was biggest dissenter against Bates, but you can't blame him for these things.
