Double Cheese Hamburger Hill i think it’s called…

Thin Red Line nah, not for me… don’t think anyone mentioned Oliver Stones JFK or Tombstone

Think you getting into Pulp Fiction Directors cut territory here fam with the Royale with Cheese. 🍔

Tombstone is a very good shout. I think I need to do a second 11 or 10 in this case to include the likes of The Rock.

Yeh, when you start to think aboot what films were left out. RtM knows what he was doing there.

Armageddon and Deep Impact and Independence Day shouldn’t make anyone’s top 10. 🤨

Twister is better than all 3 of those films. You could also put Mission Impossible. Toy Story. Last Boy Scout.

Very surprised nobody was L.A. Confidential.
Thought that would be a banker.

I had LA Confidential in my list but had to take it out to make way for other movies. Just couldn't squeeze it in there.

Thursday Theme:
If you have to be a civilian in any movie universe, what would be your top 3?

I'll go first:
1. MCU
2. Star Wars
3. Ready Player One

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not start the wannabe theme, but why would you want to be a civilian in the MCU?

Even if you're lucky enough to have not been affected by The Snap you still face constant danger from superpowered and extra-terrestrial threats and not to forget the cosmic apocalyptic threats. If you live in a big city or a small town you're pretty facked. Nowhere is safe.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes but you get to live alongside superheroes. Imagine going to work in NYC and you see Spiderman swinging by or Dr Strange at your local coffee shop.

Honestly nothing wrong with sticking the likes of Aladdin, Lion King and Jumanji in there. But for me was my "coming of age" decade I guess so I remember more the end of the decade/more adults themed movies for the most part.

Lol yeah my first thoughts were stuff like Lion King & Toy Story, then things like Galaxy Quest and Starship Troopers.

I was only 10 by the end of the 90s so missed a lot of the better adult films

Just chucking a few in that may not have been mentioned, not necessarily known for being the best but one’s I watched and enjoyed at the time…..

Flatliners
Dumb & Dumber (found it hilarious at the time, probably not so if I watched it now)
Outbreak
Heat
Lord of the Flies
Cruel Intentions (just because it’s Sarah Michelle Geller😍)
Backdraft
Enemy of the State
Boyz in the Hood
The Fugitive
A Few Good Men
Dead Man Walking
American Pie
Happy Gilmore
In the Line of Fire (Clint!)
Ring
It
Blair Witch (Marmite, overrated?)

Never ever bring marmite into film chat....

Marmite is manna from heaven... wherever that is
