I didn’t really have much expectations for it.
Sure played as a kid as Boba, but I can’t say I ever thought about a film about him.
The idea of the bounty hunters comes up, ok, sounds great.
But again, I was never eager for it. I think the promos for it indicated a slightly different tone, or story. But I’ve liked the show overall, but they just need to let loose.
This is Star Wars. The greatest playground/sandbox a Director could ever wish for. Go for it.

I would have preferred a Maul series with him being the crimelord. I like the character of Boba but only as this faceless,mysterious bounty hunter. I loved that we never saw his face.

Yeah, tha is the biggest thing for me as well. Pretty much never has his trademark gear on at all which is a bit daft given he was a mystical character to generations based on that.

It was better, because it was in decline from the high Republic era (due to wars) so still slightly better I guess.

I want more Maul stuff.. until rogue 1 I thought he was a better villain than Vader.

Yes Maul, he was very interesting. Now he was a character I wanted to see more of. Yeh, I can understand that being better than Vader.
I mean, if we to do a tale of the tape, Vader I’d guess would win, but it would be close.

Just reminded me… Captain whatshisface? Diego Luna’s from Rogue 1, maybe his show will be the dark horse of the lot…

Exactly that. If I ever imagined Boba, I never once thought of taking the mask off. Was never interested to go that deep, he was perfect as he was.
But that’s the problem… Greed. People want to know more, and the others see dollar signs even if it means risking the mystic of it all.

Thought, before the prequels, he was a robot tbh.

If anything we should have a sordid Twi'lek show and get Han and co back, you know he smashed a Twi'lek or two in his time.
