Well Episode 4 you get the impression that Obi knows Ani is Vader......well now that's how it's gonna be for sure, though looking forward to see how they explain Leia's message at the start of Ep4

I liked the Reeva character too. Seems like she’s doing someone’s bidding. Great to see Jimmy Smitts again as Bail. Hasn’t missed a beat. Thought Chili Peppers dude did fine, but again, the stunt casting does pull focus, and I hate that.
Like give them make up. Scar them up or something.

Yeh I definitely feel like Vader pulls her to the side as all the inquisitors are leaving the class room and he says like special assignment - find Obi Wan alive and bring him to me, then her with her dad issues for Vader does it happily (this is what I am going with for guesses).

Episode 2: 7/10

Good to See Obi wan go off world and be a fish out of water. Him reconnecting to the force and actually fighting for the first time in 10 years was good to see and it adds more to his journey and development. I thought the chase scene was lacklustre and Leia is already becoming an annoying character for me. I get that they are trying to show how strong willed and brave she is but they are overdoing it for me. Her running off and Obi Wan trying to chase her was comedic. Reeva doing flips and parkour for a few scenes and she was still no where near Kenobi Overall it was an OK episode but I'd rather the show focus on Obi Wan more so than it already is. It was great to see Anakin at the end too.

So I guess the main question people have is why did Obi Wan not know that Vader was alive?

As it's only 10 years after episode 3, I'd imagine Vader is still recovering and being kept in the shadows by Palpatine. However, in Rebels, we see a more active Vader, so I suspect Rebels is set in a period not too far from episode 2. Just to be clear, Obi Wan left Mustafar thinking that Anakin had died. The idea to protect Leia and Luke was borne from the fear that the emperor would capture them, not Vader. Until of course they discovered that Vader is alive.

Think there is enough to suggest that either he is ok, but now with a place for an awesome belly button piercing or these guys are brother/clones etc - and since Thrawn series isn't canon anymore, we could potentially have force wielding clones now, as I believe he is only every referred to as "Inquisitor" so maybe some wiggle room.

Honestly I would ask why would he know - he is off in the back end of the back end. Even if Vader was rampaging around the galaxy......there would be no reason to suspect that Vader was Anakin unless they got into the vicinity of each other. He would literally have need someone to tell him

Thats the way I read it too. Anakin/Darth has been in rehab and is only just getting his strength. Uncle Palps wouldn't want to expose him too soon.
Not sure how close you have to be to someone to feel their force.

It also makes sense why Obi Wan and Yoda sent Luke to Tattooine and Anakins step brother They never thought the emperor would look there.

Also, Uncle Palps wouldn't want Anakin to go to Tatty, as he may connect with his youthful desires and lose some hate.

It looks to me like Obi wan has been literally living in a cave and has no idea what has been happening. So even if Vader was going on a rampage, Obi Wan is so far removed, he wouldn't a clue.

So, let’s go then… How does Leia not know who Ben/Kenobi is?
