Look guys, I am just telling you my own personal experiences of it.
The picture we were sent on facebook and instagram were quite distressing, and I spoke to my daughters boyfriend who is out there with his father and he told me that everybody is on edge out there because of the Russians.
You do not get the full picture from the news.

I in no way condone violence however the one thing our hooligans did was attack each other and in majority of occasions innocent people were left alone although I know in some cases innocent people were caught up in the middle.
Russians on the other hand don't care. They will hit anyone they think is English. They are truly disgusting and the level of brutality is worrying. I am actually very surprised nobody has been killed yet.

What was worst for me is how these Russian lads were laying into clearly unconscious people, that's as nasty as it gets, kicking someone in the head who can’t defend themselves.
It's going to take trouble in the ground to get them kicked out though so have to see what happens today.
I was in Paris for the last few days for ROI v Sweden, thankfully it all went very well and the atmosphere was great, really enjoyed it, but I'd hate to think what it would have been like had there been trouble like we saw in Marseilles.
Any English fans I met in Paris yesterday were all sound, spoke to loads of them and heard a few crazy stories from Marseilles, they all just wanted to do what the Irish fans had been doing, have a few drinks and mix with other fans.
Yes there are loutish fans who are very obnoxious and aggressive but they're defo the minority, what's happened in the last few days is beyond the usual trouble you might see.
While no one wants to see trouble at a game I'd nearly be happy to see the Russian’s kick off with the cops today in the ground, not the Slovak fans so no one gets hurt, but if they try fight the riot police then get banned that's good for everyone.
The behaviour of the Russian fans is despicable and is rightly being condoned by all on here.
That said, you know have first hand experience of what the rest of Europe has had to endure for decades when your boys travel, I accept it's a minority but then it's probably a minority of Russian fans causing the bother too...
If this is what they are like now, imagine what they would be like in they're own country in 2 years time !!!

Hector I think this is different, previously, and we saw this again last Wednesday / Thursday was that you might get a group of English fans who set up camp at a bar and begin singing the WW2 songs etc. Like the other day they were singing "If it wasn't for the English you'd be Krauts" to French Police.
That behaviour is antagonizing and is asking for trouble, but these Russian boys seem to have gone far beyond what English fans may have done in the past, they're like a trained mob with co-ordinated attacks!

While it could be that way Putin will not want innocent people being attacked in Russia, it would be a disaster for him and for the country, not saying it won't happen but I'd imagine they will try to quell the hooligan element on their own soil.
