Now may be a good time to buy Kane as his value is only about £500k if you judge him by this tournament.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Reckon this will be a recurring pattern with him at int tournies?
He was terrible tbf.
don't think anyone is saying Pogba isn't a very good footballer, the issue i have is this utterly ridiculous valuation of £100m, it's fckin insane

i notice not a single person has yet criticised Griezmann for missing a header from 4 yards out that i would have scored
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's one miss.
Not being completely average the whole game.
Especially when you're meant to be a 100 million pound player in your countries biggest game in 16 years on home turf.
Ben Arfa should've been in the squad without doubt.

It's over priced by roughly around 70 mil.
I'm pleased for Nani, we all know he's stupid and frustrating but on his day he was a match winner and his fragile mentality was probably not really dealt with correctly. I genuinely feel had we given him more support and played him more regularly on the right we would have had a far better player.
But that's all in the past now and we need to move on. But still, I'll always have a soft spot for the Michael Jackson Thriller lookalike even if he annoyed us most games.
And people claiming Pogba is poor, good one.

Kane was poor at the under 21 Euros last year as well.
Pogba was shiiiiiit in this tournament. He's still an excellent footballer, though. I'm not going to judge a player's worth at club level based on a tournament where Joe Allen has outshone the likes of Busquets, Fabregas, Iniesta, Pogba and Modric.

I don't think deschamps did a great job with this side tbf - it had so much potential. Pogba was quite clearly misused, and his obsession with Gignac is quite strange.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They needed a better striker they really should
Of taken benzema, they would of won it with him I think and made more use of martial as a striker
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Given what happened in 2010 I can understand France not taking a player like Benzema who could probably divide the dressing room.
Giroud had a pretty good tournament I thought, but it baffles me why the plan b was always Gignac, who is essentially just a worse version of Giroud. He could have got way more out of Martial and Coman than he did.
Seriously pogba is a 25mil player nothing more. He's close to being one of the most overrated players of all time

pogba is a very good player.
Not a great player
The story of him leaving utd for free made everything he did get blown out of proportion.
I pray madrid beat us to him.

No it didn't, it is purely his performances for Juve that have given him his current reputation. The football world doesn't revolve around United.

Hmm I dunno, I've never heard of him doing that and he's easily a mile better than giroud and way more mobile.
That said I haven't looked into the him/ valbuena stuff that greatly.
Martial should be starting up front from now on though.

He doesn't start up front for United so I'm not sure he really deserves to be starting up front for France just yet.
Kane did look tired but it's no excuse for looking worse than Andy Carroll.
Hopefully it's not a sign of things to come for him in tournaments.
the player who should be most pee'd off about missing out for France up front is Kevin Gameiro
Kane is still a very good player, truth is being good at club football doesn't always translate to being good at international football. It's not a step up, it's just a different step, some players are simply far more comfortable with the day to day life of club football, living at home, driving to training and going away for a day or 2 for away games. International football is completely different, you're away from your home comforts and living in a hotel for weeks, the whole set up is different. Some struggle while others find it easy.

Yeah I agree, 1982. Kane looking worse than Eder doesn't mean shiiiiiit when he goes back to play for Spurs. Just saying that I hope it's not a thing that will continue for England as in the two international tournaments he has played he's been shocking in both.
