On a par with Scotland maybe
http://m.fifa.com/fifa-world-ranking/ranking-table/men/index.html
Siggy is the second worst player I've seen in a Wolves shirt, Robert Taylor will take some beating for top spot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think there's a need to recognise that the ranking of international teams is no guide to the strength of the leagues in a country as with Scandinavian countries virtually every top player plays in leagues outside Scandinavia.
The Championship is ranked the 9th strongest league in the world. The Swedish top division is 14th, Denmark top flight 24th and Norway top flight 27th
Reading that Wolves legend George Elokobi has signed for Braintree Town on a month's loan

The rankings are a farce.
Though perhaps West Ham will beat a Romanian side at the fifth or sixth attempt next season.
I wonder if part of Afobe's contract states that he HAS to play in a certain number of games - and that's why they only bring him on for the final 12 seconds?
That might have been a good bit of business by Wolves.
From what I gather he had a really good 12 seconds, showing his new ability to make runs down the channels

Not even doing you justice.
Ahead of Edwards as well given he thinks Afobe is the best striker he has seen throughout his time at wolves and not to mention all the clubs looking to sign Afobe for big money.
You are wasted in your trade and need to be a scout.
I correctly predicted that it would all go pear shaped and it has.
I have always maintained that anybody who could not see that deserves to be shot in the feet.
Championship teams regularly beat Premier League teams in cup competitions. Therefore, the Championship must be on par with the Premier League.
Do they, perhaps you can show me where a prem side failed to beat a champo side four times in a row?
What was the name of the pitiful Scandinavian side last year that knocked out our seventh best team? Think they beat our sixth best side as well?
Amazing you give so much weight to the opinion of someone you spend 90% of your time moaning about.
If Edwards had said Afobe is overrated, would you still be quoting him?
Anyway, don't see the problem here, I merely announced the good news that one of our old boys got a nice call up and his career improved dramatically after leaving our shat show.
Bute does this often and nobody ever says a word and I know you guys don't have agendas against certain posters.
PS. I love Edwards, I have made that clear, an exceptional professional, just not consistent enough for where we need to be.
As Tino would say...............lads.
Oh *%!@ the other half's arrived.
Walk away sunny, they have their agenda heads on today.

Seriously though - why else would you only bring a player on in the 90th or 91st minutes? It's not going to influence the game, so it must be a contractual thing.

Actually, you announced that it proved you right all along. If you had missed that off, no one would have batted an eye lid.
But it was relevant to his return to international status given you guys trashed the idea so readily a matter of months ago.
In these situations it is better to just say well done, i will do the same when the occasion arises
People didn't trash that he would play for Iceland again. People trashed statements that he was good enough for Wolves or at Championship level.
He wasn't. He has gone. Nothing he does now will change that.
Whether you think he wasn't good enough due to struggling to adapt or whatever is debateable. Personally I think he was just lacking in ability and that showed both in League One and last season.
Making out like he was good enough and we have missed out by letting him go now because he can score goals in some Scandanavian league is ridiculous and will rightly be called out.
7 goals in 67 games for Wolves was an atrocious record for someone who contributed little else with his game. I for one, won't be following his career and am glad he has left.
He scored zero last season.
