This fight discredits the sport. I really hope it's a one sided bore fest, which will highlight the benality of it.

I can't muster one iota of excitement for it.

Very interesting to hear Tim Bradley's take on this fight and he's right that Mayweather has never had to face a trash talker and all round wind up merchant like McGregor before. Undoubtedly McGregor is going to try and get under Floyd's skin like nobody has ever done before.

The fight could well be terrible but the build up is going to be terrific, guaranteed.

Conor can get under someone's skin in two minutes if he wants, let alone two months. I've got no idea how many appearances these fighters will make together before the fight though.

I disagree, Conor is great at getting into opponent's heads, you only have to look at what he did to Jose Aldo before their fight that lead to that 13 second knockout.

As for experience Floyd has plenty of it but he's never come up against someone remotely like Conor before. This will be new for him.

Either way it's all just conjecture, we don't really know how much either fighter wants this. They're getting paid nine figure salaries win, lose or draw so it's anyone's guess as to what happens in the build up.

Well the cynical side of me says, until I see them together on stage, then I believe it's happening.
But then I might shift goalposts, and say until I see them in the ring, then I'll believe.
I just can't get motivated for this fight.
And I don't like the way it's taking the shine off the epic Canelo v GGG.
But it is what it is..

GGG vs Canelo will probably have a boring build up, especially as Canelo doesn't speak much English, or doesn't want to at least.

But the fight will be spectacular so it will probably be the complete opposite of the May vs Conor fight in respect.

So if you want to be fully entertained then catch all the build up to this fight but then skip everything else until Canelo and GGG get in the ring in September

I don't think floyd stands a chance with Connor in the verbals.
