Yes, as I explained earlier there are no women in Arab countries because they don't have seex . They need to keep themselves pure to be a virgin in heaven for the men when they get up there. This has led to no births since 200ad.

So, those signs are frankly a waste of uae taxpayers money.,

In all seriousness though, it's their country so their culture, they can do what they want

Think its been mentioned before but there is nothing written in Islam that a woman has to cover her face. This is something that has been taken to the extreme by Wahabism.

Last summer I was at a school trip with my youngest there was one lady in a burka and I could see how uneasy it made other parents and kids as they could not communicate with her. As a fellow Muslim I couldn't get much out of her either.

I've got no issues with Burka being banned in public places as long as they don't take it to the next level which is to ban the hijab.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Its in the Quran

Thought you were Muslim?

I said there is a passage in the Quran where it mentions it

With regards to actually doing it there is a choice and recommended in certain scenarios and specifically not allowed in others

I am married to a white convert. She wears hijaab and jilbaab when out and a few years ago started to wear the niqaab. (All her own choice)

She doesn't wear the niqaab now as it draws attention and one of the things you don't so islamically is draw attention.

When we go yo my county of origin she wears the full veil simply because being white she gets a lot of stares

There is no direct quote or text that mentions that a women has to cover her face in public.

The Quran mentions that both men and women should dress modestly but no mention of face being covered.

I think this is what worries some people about Islam.

We have 2 people here of that faith (Kash and Zlat) who interpret it's holy book differently. Now, that is quite a scary thought when you think of some of the more violent passages that are clearly open to manipulation by some lesser informed Muslims.

I disgree in this case tbh

How can it be a different interpretation if I quoted what's there in black and white?

posted on 3/2/17

Yeah nobody interprets Christianity differently.

Never been a problem.

I have read the hadith and again no specific mention that face must be covered.

Some scholars have interpreted to include face while some haven't. If you go by the text there is no mention of face.

That the religion is overly complicated to the point that it's followers don't understand it.

It's not complicated if you follow the process the religion prescribes

Again it is open to interpretation as some scholars have said just private parts while some have said head and private parts and finally some have said private parts, head and face.

No direct quote to face.
