Do you understand what a rumour is? Look it up and familiarise yourself with the definition because maybe then you'll understand that being told a story without any facts to back it up is a rumour. A friend telling me what Rudkin's alleged cousin allegedly told him, constitutes as a rumour. There's no pretence of it being anything other than a rumour either.

I played down talk of unrest and didn't believe it was still an issue so if I'm to believe this then it means I now believe there is an issue and I'm admitting I was wrong. I blame the players so I want him to stick it out. I accept and recognise he's made mistakes this season but I'm absolutely disgusted by the players.
We've seen the same happen at Chelsea many times. When you've lost the team then that's it. It's the manager who goes as its easier to replace him than a squad of 25 but yeah bizarre what's happening this season.

Actually that's not the case, Rameses. If anything we've had our expectations raised by getting promoted from the Championship and then surviving.
We had no expectations to be chasing for the title, the Champions League or even Europe this season. However, I've yet to see a good explanation for why we shouldn't aim for a comfortable mid-table finish, above the likes of Bournemouth and Burnley, aiming to replicate Stoke, West Brom or Southampton. Why should we just shrug our shoulders and accept relegation and not them?
In fact, it occurs to me: There appears to be this bizarre phenomenon around where people seem to rate us as worse /because/ we won the league last season. If we'd finished 7th and been delighted with that, there's no way that opposition fans and journalists would be queuing up to tell us that we should just accept what was and wave merrily as we got relegated. They'd be wondering why on Earth we weren't fighting against it with every ounce of strength.
