Watch MOTD though and read all the 'expert' analysis. Then claim to be an expert. Typical modern day 'fan'

----------------------------------------------------------------------
What about the modern fan who seems to be stuck in a pre teen mindset, and responds to any debate by attacking the loyalty of fellow fans?

Bats I think you are underestimating how difficult it is to extricate someone like Wenger. Like it or not he does everything at the club. Wenger sat in on Gazidis appointment for god sake. So I don't think its about Kroenke not acting because he thinks Arsenal is a cash cow. Missing out on the Champions League? I don't think anyone seriously thinks we will finish in the top 4 with Alexis and Ozil already turned off and the rest not responding to the challenge. But the board are still offering him a contract. The board are sacred to act for the fear of falling behind.

Jenius, like I've said many times. I know the board are the main problem, because they've let Arsenal become Arsene FC. They need him to hold their hands and they are afraid of life without him. But as long as Wenger is there to take all the crap, we will never get rid of them.

If Arsene loves Arsenal as much as he claims, then he will not sign a new contract.

Its like an abused wife syndrome. Where Arsenal is the abused wife. She thinks he beats me up but who am I going to find now?

Lets be a little realistic m8. He has £8m reasons to sign a new contract. He is not walk away. My hope is that Kroenke redefines his role and he agrees with it.

After the weekend I was convinced he was leaving.

Now, a couple of days later, I'm convinced he's staying.

Cannot quite believe it, but there we go.

Nah, think it's way beyond the money thing now. A nice stick to beat him with, but I think he genuinely believes he's doing what's best for the club.

And, the most worrying thing of all, he probably is.

I'm not a modern fan, ex match attending ST holder and real fan

Blimey! Could have fooled me.

There's nothing to be gained by spending your time attacking fellow fans.

I know I'm a bit of a casual on this site, but I can tell we're all unhappy. We just have different solutions to the same problem.

Do you honestly think so? Lets say he leaves? Whats the worst that can happen? We go through a hiring/firing phase. If we get a bigger name like Allegri it may take a couple of seasons to get back to the top. Older players will go. So what?

Ever since we sold RVP has there been an resemblance of style philosophy? Can you tell me how Wenger intends to play and so recruit accordingly? Its like Fergie final seasons until the squad was gutted.

No I don't think so. My point was, Wenger probably looks at the board, sees the lack of direction there and thinks by staying he at least gives us some semblance of a football club.

Without him, what the fack are we at the moment?

And, as has been pointed out by a couple of Arsenal bloggers... where the fack is Ivan facking Gazidis just lately?!
