I personally wouldn't buy Morata. I'd have Rashford n Martial compete for our number 9 spot and maybe try a find another diamond in the rough like Hernandez who can come off bench and bag a goal for us when needed.
I'm not buying for a second that Rashford n Martial can't be clinical or aren't ready yet. It's all about confidence. Both have shown their qualities enough for me. It's now down to the manager to get them consistent which is part of his job.
I'd spend the Morata money further improving the midfield and lack of creativity we have.

I'd rather we spent half of the morata money on Mahrez. He's exciting, scores goals, gets assists and knows the prem. Stick Rashy up top.
Or go big and throw a ton of money at whoever will take it and buy Neymar/Bale/Messi/Ronaldo/Defoe.....

If we were to go with Rashy/Martial as our #9... We could do far worse than signing Josh King as a backup. Scored a decent amount, last season, and would love a move back to UTD.

I would rather we got a manager who knew how to get the best out of him than let him go.
The lad is going to be something special, just needs the right manager to manage him

Rashford and Martial should have chances. But even if they were already at the level of Yorke and Cole in 99, we'd be thin on the ground relying on them without another high class striker in the squad.
I also think the jury's out whether either of them are best suited as a number 9 - particularly a Mourinho number 9. Both can be devastating using their pace and I'd love to see them as inside forwards in a 4-3-3 with a clever, mobile, technical centre forward dragging defenders out of position.
There is no way I would be letting Martial leave. He is a quality youngster and needs some time to develop. He is by no means the finished article, but who is at 21?

You realise you are saying "this" to a rumour that has already been rubbished by Martial himself?
Sad times being a united fan. People championing for Matic and happy to see Martial go. The hypocrisy of this place- get ready for the Fellaini and Matif bus
It's hardly like the vast majority are clambering for Matic or hoping Martial leaves... and even those who are not sold on Martial will be fully aware that Matic doesn;t then replace Martial and we would go and buy another attacking player.
hmmm... you're an imbecile.
Martial should be given more time but looking from a non United supporters view I just don't think his face fits with Mourinho.
I know Martial is saying he's staying and going no where but if Mourinho does happen to get in a striker in the next 3 or 4 weeks then I wouldn't be surprised to see him moving on before the summer window.
As far as the fee that he would demand then that's a difficult one, his stock has fallen since his Monaco days where he was a relatively unknown over here but was already a fully capped international that these days can't even make a squad.
A talented player that imo will never reach his full potential and could steadily fade away in similar fashion to Balotelli.

I said Martial is one of my favourite players and that I want him to stay.
The point that you seem to be struggling with is that is Martial did leave, we would not be replacing him with Matic... We would be in the market for another attacking player.
That this needs to be pointed out to you is scary.
😂 Love how people still believe rumours from the express over the actual player himself.
Look at the idiot trying to flip the script and come across smart. He would probably be replaced with a 28 year old attacker, because let's face it our manager cannot develop talent for toffees. Martial is the most talented player in our squad in my opinion. It hegpes to Arsenal, I can see this boy being a world beater.
