And Webbe 56 has Now been expelled from the Labour party.......following on from Honest Keith Vaz in labour leicester seats.
As i said earlier, labour and tory have some quality peeps, and Biden plus Bojo are simply super western leaders, lol.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You've got to laugh at this forum.
I got criticised for casting aspersions on Rayners convenient bereavement that her kept away from Westminster until she'd apologised for her drunken skum comments yet the gloves are off for Patterson who's missis hung herself.
As for Claudia Webbe now she really is skum.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The two aren’t even remotely similar. You speculated that Rayners bereavement was convenient timing. We’re slating Paterson for trying to use his wife’s death to get him off his scvmmy behaviour. Having lost someone to suicide he deserves everything he gets, and then some.

Been away from the news. What did Paterson say about his wife to try to get off?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Said the investigation into his integrity contributed to her state of mind before she took her own life.

Probably true to be fair.
That's not to excuse any of his actions though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Even if that is true, doubts cast based on Paterson’s previous comments re his wife’s suicide, it’s not the investigation that is the cause. It’s his corrupt actions.
It’s like being investigated for fraud by the police, a loved one commits suicide, then saying it’s the police’s fault for investigating.
But responsibility for your own actions isn’t a Tory mantra. Obfuscation and whataboutery are though.
I dunno wether to laugh or cry lads

Maybe just me but I find it despicable.
How can you empathise with someone who shamelessly uses this tragedy to try and manipulate others.

Because his wife died.
I'm not sure how it is manipulating people though. Isn't he says this as a fact?
In no way should his corrupt actions be taken lighter, but this kind of tragedy is worthy of sympathy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Until you use that tragedy to get yourself off your corrupt actions or does he still deserve sympathy?
It is but he didn't just try to garner sympathy but imply that the investigators were culpable in her death

Sympathy for his loss, undoubtedly. Sympathy for his professional position, absolutely not.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sympathy for his late wife, yes. Sympathy for this cvnt, erm no. He can rot as far as I’m concerned, he’s scvm.

Harsh
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You expect different towards someone who tried to use his wife’s suicide to get him off corruption charges?
It is plausible he has been suffering through stages of grief and he’s moved from shock at what happened to blaming everything and everyone around him, including the committee. I’m shocked he did not stand down when it happened as it is a truly life changing trauma and as we know he was being well compensated elsewhere so wasn’t in need of a job.
It was the job of the committee however to be objective, thorough, but also sympathetic to his situation. They were. That 250 Tory MPs voted to effectively sideline the committee (the cross party committee) is what is most shameful.

I see it as two different events with two different stances.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Until Paterson decided to conflate the two.
Tell you what JS, have a parent commit suicide (I hope this doesn’t happen) then see if you’ve got sympathy for this cvnt.

Climate change is helping Atlantic hurricanes pack more of a punch, making them rainier, intensifying them faster and helping the storms linger longer even after landfall. But a new statistical analysis of historical records and satellite data suggests that there aren’t actually more Atlantic hurricanes now than there were roughly 150 years ago, researchers report July 13 in Nature Communications.

How many class 5 back then?

Dunno mate. I think there are twice as many deaths caused by texting whilst driving in the US than natural disasters
