While the global supply chain crisis is affecting all countries, Britons are substantially more likely to have personally experienced food shortages than our European neighbours

'Only 100k jobs'

Think I pulled that figure from out of my arrse actually 🙃

It's only a few thousand but it's still unnecessary and the problem is more the lack of potential for growth

I'm making some plans to leave the UK, I may even take advantage and get a couple of years free College education in Scotland before heading off as well.

Still waiting for my Irish passport, so I have the option and generally find travel (remember that) easier.

I don't see standard of life here getting so bad I'd actively want to leave and I don't think Priti Patel's fascist vision for us will come to fruition either but would probably leave if either did happen

Because the Lib Dems, Greens and SNP split the non-Tory vote with Labour. I think we will are unlikely to see anything other than a coalition government these days if the Tories don't win.

Unless the Tories split, they have monopolised the right wing of British politics.

I don't see much value in an Irish passport as they don't let you get on a plan drunk anyway...

Regional hospital admissions starting to show impact of omicron. Expecting other regions to largely follow suit.

6000 7 day rolling last year

Long way to go, roughly fives times like I said earlier today. Declining everywhere else apart from the NorthWest

This graph shows data from September. The trend from December when omicron was recognised in the U.K. shows an upwards trend in all English regions except the southwest and east. London looks horrific
