Yeah at the time my daughter was 13, no interest in anything interesting and like I say I had not long become a single full time dad at the time, so wanted something as kid/teenager friendly as possible!

Last year I went to Tenerife on my own and built it all by myself for like £350

Fair enough, can see why it would make a good choice in that situation.

Agree with you though! I want to do a lot of exploring in my older age now.

You got any trips planned mate?

Reduce the number of MPs and boost their salaries substantially on the proviso that being an MP is their sole income, any MP caught taking bungs in cash or in kind commits a crime that carries an automatic minimum 2 years prison.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd say those wanting to work in public services should be allowed to. I think there's one MP at least who's also a GP or consultant? It keeps them in touch with public services, they make a valuable wider contribution to society, and is relevant/raises awareness in their role as an MP. No private company second jobs though.

Warning

"The US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) issued the warning for the Astro Vibe Blue Razz edition of the drink"

That name is why I agree with Bill Hicks on people who work in marketing.

A date for the start of the EU’s long-delayed Entry/Exit System (EES) has finally been announced.
Officials have said that Europe’s new digital border system for non-EU nationals will be rolled out beginning on 12 October this year.

“The launch sets up a step closer in making the EU the most advanced travel destination in the world,” Henna Virkkunen, Executive Vice-President for Tech Sovereignty, Security and Democracy, said in a statement.

“By working closely with Member States and the transport sector, we are creating a secure, efficient, and travel-friendly framework that reflects Europe’s commitment to both security and technological innovation.”

The EES is being introduced to bolster border security and identify travellers who overstay their permitted time in the Schengen Area (90 days within a 180-day period).

Japan is awesome. Went straight after they reopened from Covid, flights were like 450 bucks at the time. So easy to get around as well. Loved it more than I expected actually, it really had a great feel to it. Bit too watered down for my usual travel tastes perhaps but still.

Jet2 are very good IMO!
Probably one of the best package holidays I've ever had

Package holidays are a bit shiiiit. Most destinations are soulless boring beach resorts filled with tourists, do get the occasional gem though
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't even know what a package holiday is honestly, is that when its all set up. the hotel, flight and all inclusive? If so there is not a world where I would ever do that in a million years.

Given their declining birth rates they’ll probably trap you there and force you to procreate

Normally I’d agree but I went on a package holiday to Antalya 2 years ago and it was the best holiday ever. Hotel, food, flights was perfect.

I love 15 mins from Heathrow, I have probably only flown from there like 3 times in my life and that’s because it costs a facking bomb to fly to a holiday destination from there.

India is without doubt the best travel experience anyone could ever do. Mind blown from start to finish, the country is just insane. If I could only travel to one country for the rest of my life then it would be India without doubt.
